Installed Rough Country 2.5" level kit to take some of the rake out. Maybe a bit too much, it actually sits 1/2 higher in the front than the rear. If I didn't have the winch, it would be an inch higher. I don't have a phobia about the truck sitting high in the rear, but I do about the truck sitting higher in the front.

Here is my thread on the RC 2.5" level kit and Metalcloak Duraspring bump stops

grab the Daystar .75" rear spacer. Will level it out nicely.

Could be worse, Could be a Cali Lean! :headbang:
Lol, no.
Whatever its called.
Just... No.

I've got a Rustys 1.5" rear spacer and shock spacers ready to install. An inch of rake looks good to me.

I added the JCR half-rack today to Kassandra. I found a great deal on craigslist from another Gladiator owner, @prayingmantisboy, that had originally purchased the half rack, then later decided he needed a larger rack so I was more than willing to take it off his hands :D

As expected from JCR everything is well designed, with the highest quality fabrication. I really like this rack!

Kassandra looks so small next to "Red Scorpion". Someday, she will grow up too.

@JcrOffroad, feel free to use these images of Kassandra. ;)
She makes that rack look good...

I've added Rusty's 1.5" rear spacers and their shock extensions. You can read about it here:

RC 2.5" front with Rusty's 1.5 Rear Spacers

Minor fabrication was required for bump stops.

I tried to replicate the picture from a previous post for comparison. My wife said the truck looked "skittish" like it was skulking or getting ready to run away with the front lifted higher lol.

I was surprised how it changed the way the truck drives. After lifting the rear, the truck feels sporty and proud. I do not like the way cars feel when the rear sits low, like a worn-out caddy. Yes, it may be soft and smooth... but like a weak handshake :(
Now it looks and feels right again.

I purchased some recovery boards off Amazon. These came recommended from a few youtube guys, so I thought I would give them a try.

X-Bull recovery Board

I wanted to mount them to my JCR half rack, so I fabricated up some mounts.
First, I welded a bolt to some scrap steel

IMG_20200228_144459.jpg

I couldn't find any thumb screws that would work so I made them. A short length of 1/2" ID pipe, welded a nut to it, then welded a little plate for something to twist against.

IMG_20200228_155735.jpg

bolted to the rack

and mounted

IMG_20200228_162800.jpg

For now, I'm just using 2 bolts that they hang from. The thumb nuts hold everything down. If I find they rattle or flap in the breeze I'll add 2 lower bolts. Now I just need to paint them. I'm planning on using the same bedliner I used on the sliders.

IMG_20200301_165421.jpg

And painted. that almost looks semi-professional.

IMG_20200228_163802.jpg

The end product. I think she looks amazing.

I installed Metalcloak upper control arms today to adjust the caster. Wow, it's a different truck. I set the arms for about 5.5-6 degrees. The truck doesn't follow the crown of the road, she ignores crosswinds, and the slight flutter or shimmy after hitting a bump is gone (I always assumed this was from the heavier mud tires vs the AT's on my other jeeps.) I learned a lot about caster and how it affects the way the jeep drives. What surprised me the most was the way it hits bumps.

I installed the Evo Bomber Rockers. These things are amazing: Very well built. Very well designed. I really like how they hug the body of the JT. You cannot see the pinch seems because they sit high and tucked in like the factory rails. They mount to both the pinch seems and to the body mounts so they are solid.

I really like that they help protect the painted rear flares and should stop nearly all door dings. It's also nice to know I'm protected off-road... JTs are long and scraping the belly is a certainty.
Really nice setup! Do the rocker bars offer a solid area to step on?

Thanks. They are VERY solid. I use them as a step to clean the roof, but as far as an actual step to get in the truck, they are a little too tucked in to be of much use.

There is obvious and overwhelming praise for the Pategonias on youtube from all the big streamers. So when they went on sale for $160/each, I jumped on it. I want to try them out for myself.
