Just curious how many JT owners are physically active. I'm a runner myself mainly but recently got into biking as well. Took a few months off to recover from a injury and am getting back at it now. Went from a 7:30-7:45 training pace to a 8:30-8:45 pace, it's been a struggle the past few weeks. Feel free to post up your activities you have done or did with pics.

This morning got in 5 miles. It was nice a morning to get out and run, cloudy and around 48° when I started. Also nice to get out and have nice ride in the JT. Not a bad one, kept my heart rate in check at least.

By the term "bikers" I hope you're referring to people who ride Harleys...;)

And yes, I've been riding on 2 wheels (motorcycles) since I was 5 years old.

My 2006 GSXR 600 (pic taken in 2006 at my trailer when I was in college). Traded it in 2009 to get the Harley.

2009 HD Rocker Custom bought new in 2009 (still have it, thinking about selling it...And if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM)

I used to bike about 20 or so miles a day until an inattentive teen totaled my M3 and ripped up my knee. Haven’t really been back on the thing fully with how much my knee clicks and pops now :(

I’ve been on a kayak kick since I can still use my shoulder in that motion despite it also being ripped up in the accident. (Can you tell I’m sour? Haha)

I am sure he is talking about the human powered kind . I run occasionally now, exclusively trails and went back to mountain biking after a 1 ton dually decided I did not belong on the road. Have the Salsa for urban and gravel. Used to race triathlon and had way too many bikes. First pic is trail rash from clipping a tree at almost 20mph.

I run and cycle. At the moment it's just running since my bikes are all at home. I've done a few marathons (on a few continents) and a few long-distance bike races - Dirty Kanza a few times, the Chino Grinder once. I love to eat so the only way to not be incredibly fat is to burn craptons of calories. Here's a picture of me during Dirty Kanza giving the bike a little break.

My avatar is the other type of biking I do.

As I love mountaineering, I go trail running 3~5 miles a day, 4~5 days a week with my dog to stay in shape. I just climbed Cerro Aconcagua, one of the Seven Summits and the highest in both the Southern and Western Hemispheres with the elevation of 6,960 metres (22,837 ft), this January. As far as Seven Summits go, I've also climbed Kilimanjaro in Tanzania about 2 years ago.

I was planning on climbing Denali this June, but Denali NP just suspended issuing climbing permits for this year because of coronavirus. So, it looks like I need to wait for another year.

From top to bottom: Aconcagua, Aconcagua summit, Kilimanjaro summit, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Rainier, Mokka (my running partner)

Anybody had any issues with GPS syncing up to their watch the past couple days. I had heck of time this morning on my 5k run getting it to sync on my Garmin 645. I don't think it synced until just after the first mile.

It's good to get outside but these numbers have got me ticked off. To much time off made a huge swing in my speed. Looks like track work right around the corner, hello Yasso 800's, if you run you know what I'm talking about.

I used to run heavily. Never could get better than a 10 min/mile pace. I have always done 5k's but I have done a half marathon. I told my brother we would do the Denver Rock 'n' Roll this year...But being a heavy guy...it's definitely not fun. lol

Recently bought a Cannondale 700M road bike. Waiting for weather to break as I’ve
no proper winter gear. Chomping at the bit to get out there. New territory for me. Looking forward. You guys are heavy duty!

I just got into to biking as well. Bought a used Fuji Roubiax back in January. Rode it on 3 15 mile rides so far. Now that the weather is getting warmer I'm going to work it into my running routine.

In my youth I was in to both: 10 speed bike before I was in Army. Then running (if you wanted to or not  rode mountain bike for first 2 years in Germany then Desert Shield, Storm and I got hard in to running and mountain biking after I got Stateside. I just retiring my old ragged out bike and had bought a low end one for light duty use a few weeks ago. I had a few bad years that put me off my "game" and I got old and fat. Severed left big toe off. Recovered from it was getting back at running and biking then had a ladder slid out from under me as I got to top. I landed on top left ankle didn't. But now I'm trying to get back in to human power biking. 15 years in Army Infantry then finished as pog MOS. :puke: I lost over a inch in hight so not so much of the long distance or running anymore. To much body damage for it.

I hear that. Hernia sucks. I'm finally getting back to running form since they open some races up and now they aren't virtual. Hoping to get my first 100+ mile month in of the year. 70 so far for the month.
