What are your recommendations and your experience with these two types of wheel spacers.

Thank you in advance

I just installed 1 3/4“ G2 spacers the other day. Everything works well and rides fine with my +25 AEV Wheels on 37’s. I’d be happy to take a pic if it ever stops raining here in NJ. Wish I could have went with only a 1/2” spacer, but I didn’t want to have to grind the studs on my brand new ride so this was pretty much my only option other than new wheels.

I used a set of spidertrax for 125,000 miles on a KJ without any issues

City road it rides great. On highway it’s twitchy. I have a fix steering stabilizer but I think I need to get a track bar to help with highway twitch.

Installed some G2 1 3/4” spacers the other day to stop the slight rub I was getting on my lower control arms at full lock. Considering that these 17X8.5 AEV’s have an offset of +25 I think that they are now somewhere in the neighborhood of -18 or -19 offset when you consider the spacer. The rub is gone, but so is the almost flush look I had. I’m thinking a 17x9 with 0 offset would probably be a perfect setup on a Sport S without the max tow option due to the fact the axels are 3/4” shorter on each side when compared to a max tow Sport or standard Rubicon so the wheels might be up for grabs in a few weeks.

***If you use the G2 Spacers you cannot use the OEM lugnuts (at least with these wheels) because they are too short so I had to purchase 1 1/2” lugnuts from my local go to guy @roadrunnersnj

Curious why you choose to run a wheel spacers when you can get the right backspacing wheels for like 300$?

Gotcha. I've seen ALOT of cracked aluminum wheel spacers of all brands they just don't belong on a off-road rig. Also real bolt on spacers are very expensive for what you get. I feel you on the projects. I've decided to add a subwoofer spacer lift and teraflex bump stops to mine this weekend to keep me busy.
