I have some rubicon fenders on the way with led lights in them. Plan is to do the American adventure labs chop at some point. So might just see if the halogen lights will fit in the rubicon fenders.
The regular sport halogens will not fit, but if they are Max tow or overland they will

I’ve got a Sport S with halogen lights, will these light assemblies fit into a Rubicon flare that had LED lights?

I swapped my Max Tow fenders for Rubicon fenders, it was a good upgrade for clearance. The Rubicon fenders had the LED DRLs and signals and it just took a program change to operate them.

Did your max tow inner fender liners work with the rubi outer fenders?

Looks great. Also curious about inner liners fitting. Did you replace the rears? If so what was the difference.

I was fortunate enough to find a set of fenders that included the inner fenders. I am assuming the the fronts would not work simply because the Rubicon fender is a higher fender. The rears may have fit as I don't believe there is a difference between the Rubicon and Sport S Max Tow rear inner fenders...but that is a guess. Now if I could just find a silver Rubicon or Moab hood.

$700 is a lot of cash for a pair of front Rubicon fenders and then you probably need to replace the back ones too. Add to that a couple hundred for matching paint (if you are looking to do that).

I'd watch Ebay for take offs (JK ones sell for $100 a set of 4 sometimes) or the local junk yard where you can probably get for $50

I took a photo of the stock fender (passenger side) and the Rubicon fender (driver side) during the installation that shows the difference between the two fenders. As you can see, the Rubicon fender sits higher as evidenced by where the bottom is in reference to the grill and how the hood latch fits on the fender.

I swapped out to rubicon fenders also. I couldn’t get the inners to line up on front or back. Gonna give it another try when it’s not raining.

No, the Tazer programmer allows you to select this. I also have the LED Fog Lamps and last week added the LED Headlights, all programmed with the Tazer.
