It will definitely help the factory cage hold up in a roll over. It’s not like adding these braces will be comparable to a properly built complete DOM cage but it most certainly adds a bit of strength.

I've got 2 "added" in my LJ one at rear down turn at top of stock rollbars and second above where mounted to fenders. My High-Lift jack and other gear mounted on it. I'm sure it would be safer in roll or a crash. I've wanted to add the "Tee Top" section but haven't got around to it.

I have the Rockhard rear upper section on my JT and my friend has the front upper and lower section on his JKU. I'm glad that it's there in case of a rollover. The Wranglers have cross bar on the rear of the roll cage and I decided that I wanted one too. I even have my hat rack installed on it now and have more attachments that I have yet to install for other things. It's serving it's purpose.
