Putting 2014 JK wheels on a 2020 Gladiator

Hi everyone,
I was able to get a hold of 2014 JK Rubicon wheels and tires from a co-worker. I had them balanced and new TPMs were installed. They fit my 2020 Gladiator fine, and after a quick test drive the tire pressure light came on. The guy at the tire place said that the TPMs are programmed to my truck. Another Jeep guy told men that there is something with the centers the rims that keeps the TPMs from working properly. Any information or insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

I get the check tire pressure light and then on the display "Tire Pressure Unavailable" with the outline of the truck and the tires in red.

They said that they were the proper TPMs for a Gladiator.

They might have installed tpms sensors that use the old frequency. Wheel dimensions are the same on Glad vs. 2014 Wrangler.

For what it’s worth, I am using the same wheels, tires, and tpms sensors (56029398AB) that I had on my 2015 JKU without any issues.

and i have my 2014 wheel sensors that work fine with my Gladiator

For what it’s worth, I’m running an eBay set of TPMS sensors. If they’re the right spec, they should work without issue.
