I'm doing a Sport S Max Tow build soon but planning to immediately dump the stock tires and go to the same size as stock Rubicon (LT285/70R17). As much as I want to put 35s on I will be towing a 4200 lb travel trailer so need to keep tire size reasonable with that in mind and impact to gearing.
Having watched the forum for a long time while I'm counting down I see Nitto and BFG moving a lot of tires on to new Gladiators and that's fine and good but I'm looking at a tire I've never tried before that looks cool but also functional, a "hybrid" type tire between an AT and a MT. Wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP?? They are available in this size, look cool, functional, and fairly aggressive, reasonably priced, and weight also in line. Any insight appreciated from the brain trust!

FYI...they are available nationwide at 4 Wheel Parts... https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/dick-...s/prod2590001?Most+Popular+Sizes_PQ=285x70R17
Thanks!
