I tested all the wires with my multi meter. There is NOT a remote switch back here but there is power (12v) constant. The other wires were 3 volts which means they are CAN BUS, dont mess with 3 volt wires, they run to the vehicle Network system.
Seperate out the colored twisted pair in the B pillar.
Left Rear Sound Bar Grey/Green (+) and Grey/Dark Green (-)
Right Rear Sound Bar Dark Green/Green (+) and Dark Green/Grey (-)
I soldered the wires to the LOC (line out converter). I just removed about an 1/8 inch of insulation and soldered the LOC onto the two twisted pair.
I secured the Line out converter with velcro I had on hand, Slid it into place before I put the wires in the tray.
Wiring Harness put back in place. Its important to make sure everything in here is tight and out of the way of the seat belt moving around.
Finally the power to turn on any amplifier can come off the cigarette lighter (aux plug) on the dash. The panels literally pull right off, there is one screw holding it on after you pull of the dual climate control panel. Behind there use a wire tap to get your turn on power to the amplifer. Its fused, easily accessable, and only turns on when you go to acc or run.
Thats it, you can run an amp off your factory Uconnect system.
Happy trails buckaroo.
