Can anyone help us in finding the best Lift Kits/Shocks for Desert use, we mostly have sand dunes in our area. We are thinking of going higher than a 2inch lift. Please share us your recommandations.

Hello!

If we can suggest ourselves, our Overland Plus Lift Kit would be great for your intended application. The kit comes with all eight adjustable control arms and track bars you'll need in order to have the best performance possible while bouncing around in the desert on sand dunes, along with front and rear coil springs, sway bar end links, bump stops, and brake lines if you’re looking to go with a 3.5” kit. Not only are you getting all of the adjust-ability you need to set proper angles, but all eight control arms included in our Overland Plus kit come with our fully sealed Giiro Bushings, so you don’t have to worry about any sand, dirt etc. getting inside. The Giiro bushing itself is a self-centering, maintenance free, self-lubricating bushing that allows for all the flex and movement you need off road, and the comfortable and quiet ride you want on road.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Check the kit out here!

Having built a jk for stuff like this I went the opposite of everyone and did a teraflex prerunner kit. It came with track bar brackets, longer beefier control arms that were non adjustable and used factory style rubber bushings and large foam bump stops with fox bypass shocks. In 40k miles I never touched the lift except for the occasional retorque check. It made desert/washboard stuff tolerable.

Having adjustability is great but not when a heim joint fails or something gets loose hundred miles from the road.

Depends what sort of driving you plan on doing. For everyday use and some occasional wheeling, the Fox 2.0 series seem to work out great for most customers. If you plan on doing a little more aggressive driving or a lot more off roading, than see a lot of customers using something like the Falcon adjustables. Our kits don't come paired with shocks so that you have the freedom to choose any brand you like! Our 4th of July Sale is also currently going on if you're planning on the Overland Plus kit, just use code USA10 at checkout for 10% off and free shipping!

Can the kit be used with stock rubicon shocks and shock extension for awhile until I can afford new shocks?

If the shock extensions get you to the same length a 2-3" shock package would get you, and you only plan to use it for on road use with the extensions you shouldn't have an issue.
