Dash speakers 7" No Alpine

So those are drop in replacements for the dash corner speakers? How come you went with Kenwood? Noticed there are a few choices on Crutchfield.

They are a very popular drop in for the U connect in many Chrysler cars. They work well with the crossover and do not need the included ones in the box. Anywhere you read about them the reviews are positive.

are they 3.5"? I thought we had 4" in the dash? I have the 7" and would like to replace the front and roll bar speakers.

Yeah, these Kenwoods fit, but just barely.

So non Alpine dash speakers are 8 ohm? So msot aftermarket 4 ohm coaxials are going to be significantly louder in those positions.

My old Alpine system in my jk had an odd ohm setup I ran jbl gto coaxials which were 3 ohm. Make a big difference.

I ordered a set of these for the front dash also. Has anyone done any changes to the roll bar speakers?

Curious why so many speakers. I think you have the right sizes. 4" roll bar and 3.5" dash uppers.

2 in the dash. 2 in the knee panels. 4 (2 of each) in the roll bar.

Just do the 3.5's first and see how you like it.
