Two of those memphis wired in series, in a ported box, would probably be awe inspiring!

The 8 would of took some work to fit, but I imagine the sound would be intense. I may be getting old but the 6 does not leave me wanting more lol.
The JL 8" microsub actually fits very well (to my surprise) after taking out the plastic tray under the seats. As a bonus, I was able to drill a small hole in the box and use one of the bolts / brackets from the tray to secure the box to the floor. As a result, I had to space the woofer out a little or else it was contacting that bolt. I'll probably paint the spacer black soon.

I was actually pretty impressed with the audio on the 7" screen system, in my Max Tow. They get alot of sound out of those little speakers. I did miss the low end I had in my Ram Alpine system. I tried the 8" Powered JL micro sub. But I would of had to do something drastic to my under seat rear storage, to make it fit, and I just did not want to do that to my new Gladiator. So I ordered up the JL Audio 6" sub and a kicker sub amp. This fit really really well. I ran a 4 Guage through the fire wall in the grommet under the fuse block, that block is a bear to remove, but it is done and now and I have power distribution in back. I am extremely happy with the sound. The sub is really deep and it can provide way more low end than any guy over 35 could ever want. I could feel the kick drum on the Stones beast of burden, at low volume. With the main system bass dialed back you can ask alot more of the stock speakers. I would not hesitate to do it again, like this

Any tips on removing the fuse block?

I will not lie it is not easy. Disconnect all the positive bolted leads. They are labelled so no biggie. There is no #4 so dont freak for 30 minutes looking for it when your reassembling. Take the air box out. Unbolt power steering box tank. Unbolt it from the firewall. The bottom plate will not come all the way out, but it will move enough to allow you to remove all the skin from your hand and route the wire lol!

Half-tray gang! Yellow wire was from the powered sub I had before, going to pull that back to the radio and install a 4 channel amp this week.

Do you think the 8” would fit on the side with the jack if the jack got moved to the other side? Im trying to decide between the 6 and 8. Im also considering the MTX TN8ms

It might, but you'd have to cut the post that the jack kit slides into. Not something I wanted to try because I like the jack kit where it is.

I could get it in the tray, but the seat was hitting pretty hard all the way down. I thought about cutting some of the tray out of the way, that is on the floor.
