It's difficult to compare the difference between 67 Designs and Bulletproof, we need your opinions on both or pictures.

Not 67 cents difference between the two. The biggest difference is the logo on the mount itself. They operate the same.

One is 79 the other is 64..that’s a bit more than 67 cents difference.
LOL, Well yes it is. I said NOT different. So could be higher or lower. But really I was writing of the product differences not the price. They are pretty much the same except for the company logo.

Can someone post pics of both? I like 67 designs, Bulletproof and Ram mount and cannot decide which one to go with. I have read feedback on other threads but still cannot make a dang decision. :headbang:

I just installed the BulletProof set up in mine and I absolutely love it. Took some videos with it on a dirt trail I am familiar with and that thing holds firm at around 45mph and the video looked pretty smooth.

67d states their products are designed and manufactured in the USA; Bulletproof doesn't specify (that I can find).

Seems telling. :captain:

If you haven't already decided, hopefully this will help! :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with both products. This video really helped. Hope we could see more mods.

67 Designs carbon fiber phone holder... Kind of pricey, but it’s super-strong and rigid, and it’s real metal ball mounts, and the arm is real carbon fiber. Very well made. Highly recommend!

I have Bulletproof on both sides of my dash cup with both left and right side mounts, my passenger can also mount their phone and shoot their own video. Bulletproof also gives back a percentage to first responders/military charities. So the price difference is actually greater than the published number. Also, it works amazing. Steady, strong. 67 designs is also i imagine.

Bulletproof, unfortunately, seems to be another company (like GearAmerica) using naming and imagery to give the impression that their products are made in USA.

Unfortunately they are NOT. Like GearAmerica, their products come from China. Here’s the response I got from them when I inquired:

“We have both domestic and offshore suppliers, but the majority of our components are manufactured in China.“

And 67d designed it originally, so the Bulletproof seems to just be yet another Chinese knock-off. I don't have a problem with someone coming up with a design and having it manufactured offshore (well I do a little, but I understand how capitalism works), but I do have a problem with someone just taking a product from a company who is trying to keep jobs in their country and reverse-engineering it so they can produce it cheaper and sell it for less. And yes, I see the irony since that is how capitalism works.

I'd rather spend more to support those who are spending the R&D money to create their own products, and I'm willing to spend more again for products that support our local economy. It would be nice if companies would be 100% transparent and let the consumer decide for themselves whom they wish to support.

Kudos to Bulletproof for admitting their product is manufactured in China, and kudos to them for donating a portion of their proceeds to charity; but they can afford to since they didn't pay (as much) to design a new product or support the local community by making them in the US. If manufacturers have to print "Made in [x]" on their products, I think they should be required to put that in their marketing material and website as well.
