Has anyone used the Skyjacker G250MSB lift on their JTR? If so, how much lift did it provide? Do you have any pics of before and after? How do you like the lift?

It says it gives 2.5” front, and 1” rear. Should be adequate for 37’s, maybe even 38’s?

Went ahead and ordered it. Gonna give it a try. Will report back when it comes in, and I get a chance to install it.

Lift should be in tomorrow... If it rains Friday, I will get it put on then, if not, then I'll probably go Saturday to get it put on.

Then I'll decide what size tires to go with... I'm torn between 35x12.50's or 37x13.50's... The price for new is only about $250 difference, but I have a fairly new set of 35x12.50r20 Nitto Trail Grapplers on some (wrong-lug) wheels, that I could have dismounted and remounted on the new wheels. Just thinking that with the 2.5/1.0 lift on a Rubi, it might look "off"...And 37's will fill the fenders much better.

Thoughts? Anyone got pics of their JTR with 2.5" lift with 35's and 37's on 20" wheels? Please, post them up, so I have some comparisons! Google searching doesn't pull up specifics of the vehicle. :like:

Lift came in yesterday, but haven’t had a chance to install it yet. Maybe this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing it!

Still torn between a 3.5 or 2.5 lift myself. Mine is a sport s though.

I wonder if this provides about the height of the mopar lift? That could give you a close estimate.. plenty pics of that lift with 37s.

I know the JTR's sit about 1.5" higher (from the factory) than the other models... So, this skyjacker lift (on a Rubicon) will be about a 4" lift for the front, and 2.5" rear over the non-Rubicon model JT's.

To me, if you own a Rubicon, the Mopar lift is kind of a waste of money, and only gives you about 1" to 1.5" of lift over stock. You could do that with spacers and spend $100. But on a non-Rubi model JT, you will notice a HUGE difference over stock, so the price would be worth it. But this is all just personal opinion, based on the research I did before buying my Skyjacker lift. With mine being a Rubicon, I get a true 2.5" front, and 1" rear lift, because it is metal spacers. Which will be great for running 37x13.50's like I'm probably going to order next week. So, if down he road I want to clear 38x15.50's, I can without any other mods (other than gears, of course). :like:

Now, another option that would be cheaper, would be to buy someone's used take-off Rubi springs, shocks, and end links, for a really cheap price (I hear you can find them for under $500), and then add the Skyjacker lift for only another $350. And you get the same results, but for about half the price (or less, if you get the Rubi springs cheaper).

I was the same as you... Couldn't find anything about it online. Nobody had the kit installed. Couldn't find any pictures of it installed, etc... So, I figured I'd go ahead and try it out.

So far I like it. Won't know 100% until I get my tires and wheels mounted and balanced, and installed... But I will keep this thread updated.

Easy, compared to many other lifts I’ve installed. If you have access to a 2-post rotary lift, and an extra set of hands, super simple...Couple hours tops. :like:
