I have black and some lime green on mine.Despite asking for input on accent colors, I chickened out and just went with black here and there. Sorry for the delayed post. Here are a few pics of the "Beast".
That’s real unfortunate... I am still loving mineUpdating my profile photo of my JT.
I love it! I built my mountain bike with a black & lime green theme. I'm actually planning on adding some lime green to my JT. I'm just not sure where yet.I have black and some lime green on mine.
Been wondering this myself. I don’t like the silver tailgate or fender emblems with the overland. Thinking actually of going with more blue...What are the best accent colors to go with Hydro Blue? And how much looks good vs tacky?
I'm getting a bare metal bed rack powder coated. Now is the time to decide if I'm going with an accent. I may just go with a black that matches the fender flares, but I might get parts of it powder coated in an accent color that I carry through other parts ... maybe on wheels, inner fenders, tow hooks, badging, etc.
I think I might post a survey on the forum. In the mean time, what colors would best accent Hydro Blue?
red?
orange?
chrome?
bronze?
white?
'firetruck' green?

Looks great!Thoughts?
debating on chrome (bottom) vs matte (top). The silver on the overland looks out of place on the tailgateLooks great!
Here's me overthinking your decision LOLdebating on chrome (bottom) vs matte (top). The silver on the overland looks out of place on the tailgate
thanks for the input! I have a hydro blue overland, but the silver “Jeep” on the tailgate and fenders looks a little awkward. Unfortunately, the Etsy seller only has pics of the chrome and matte blue on a sting gray, so I keep going back and forth on which blue to add. Here's me overthinking your decision LOL
While both look good, I personally like the chrome a bit more than the matte. It provides a little 'life' to the sting gray paint. (I like the paint color, I'm just saying it's more subdued.)
I bought a Hydro Blue gladiator with the flecks in the paint giving it some shine. But, I'm adding some vinyl here and there with a satin finish ... to tone it down a bit.
Oh, I get it, those pics are from Etsy. I personally think blue on blue might be too much blue. Black is easy to get and ties other tire/trim pieces together. Do you have any other accent colors in mind? White, light gray, bronze, orange, yellow, green, red?I have a hydro blue overland, but the silver “Jeep” on the tailgate and fenders looks a little awkward. I was going to order Mopar / Jeep OEM parts, paint them (either with spray can touch-up paint & clear coats; or hire a local body shop to paint them) and replace my current dash panels...
