Added some Rubicon take-offs and a Curt hitch receiver as mine didn't come with the tow package. I took the rear bumper off for the install so I did not have to drill through the plastic on the bumper. Very happy with how it looks and rides! Next up is installing nerf bars.

Bought some lights for the back corner that doesn't have the recovery hook. Then saw there is a frame part there so I couldnt install anything there. Bought smaller lights ( recommended on this forum under the lighting thread) . Instead of making a new template I just cut the reflectors. Easy job.

Added some BFG KO2 in 315/70r17. They are take offs from a Raptor and the price was too good to pass up. I decided on the Black Rhino Bantam wheels. I had wanted the Armory wheels in desert sand but it seems they have become a bit too popular. I usually don't care about that sort of thing and just get what I want but I just couldn't do it. Also these are significantly lighter. Between the wheels and tires I only added a few pounds per wheel and honestly barely notice any difference driving. It drops out of 8th a bit more often but not enough to worry about.

Lift, wheels, and tires went on yesterday. This is my fourth Jeep, and I still can’t believe what a difference it makes.

Yep. I went with the Armory wheels. They’re popular for a reason. Nothing else matches this color this well. Anyway, I haven’t seen more than a dozen or so Gladiators on the road in my area, and I’m the only Gobi.

I generally don't like the look of the painted fenders and hardtop, but your Gladiator looks epic! :like:

Thanks! I’ve never been a fan of the painted tops/fenders either, and I certainly wasn’t setting out to buy one this time. But this Jeep stuck out to me and had the other options I wanted at a price I couldn’t pass up.

Your Jeep is amazing!
If you don’t mind sharing...What size tires/wheels are those?

Thank you!

It has a 3.5” lift with 37x12.50 mud terrains on 17x9.5 Black Rhino Armory wheels.

I love the look of the big tires with smaller wheels! Looks so good! Just saw a post today that the KO2 37”s would fit on the 2” Mopar lift...now I’m doubting my order of 315/70r/17s and dreaming of calling the guy to say change them to 37”s lol!! I’m just afraid it won’t work and I’m too much of an inexperienced Jeeper to know how to make it ;)

I bought the Ko2 315/70r17. They were great with my 1.5” leveling kit, but only measured around 34 1/2.

Had them switched out to Ko2 37/12.50r17. They measured slightly over 35. If your getting the mopar lift get the Ko2 37’s instead. Here are the Ko2 37’s with quadratec recon wheels and teraflex 1.5 leveling kit.

37s will for sure fit with a 2 inch lift. I went with the 315s because I wanted a specific driving experience. I won't be doing much off roading and this size will work fine for me. I personally think the 37 looks better proportionally on the Gladiator. The only possible issue you would have is some rubbing if you mount on the factory wheels. If you are getting aftermarket wheels most all of them will have sufficient back spacing so your tires do not rub. You are better to do it the way you want the first time because it will cost a lot more to go bigger later. I got my tires as used take offs for $600 so I won't be in bad shape if I do change my mind. Officially the 315/70r17 KO2 measures 34.4 inches and the 37/12.5r17 KO2 measures 36.5. So right at 2 inches difference. And it should fit in the original spare location.

Thanks, For the info And you are so right I don’t want to be throwing money away hand over fist with my indecisiveness so I need to pull the trigger and decide. We (shop and I) are waiting on my wheels to arrive said they’d get tires next day, so I could change my mind for a few more days. I switched my mind from the 35”x12.5x17” to the 315/70r/17 and C instead of E simply for the ride. Every place I talked to said it’s smoother, quieter and “less stiff” BUT I really do like the larger look, I wish there was a better C option for the 37”s.
