gosh I have much to learn.....A 'good' or 'bad' offset is really what you thinks looks good. Most of the wheels you see are like a -12 to -18 offset which means you get more poke (tire sticking out of the fender). A positive offset tucks the wheel into the wheel well more like a stock setup. Also a -12 offset with a 8.5" wide wheel is not the same as -12 offset with a 9" wide wheel....
