Where did you get those brackets that held the rear bumper lights you added? Nice job on the build.

I made them out of abs. They are 2 piece to allow the angle fitment and flat mounting like the reflectors.

Haven’t posted in here in a while. Been busy with making work successful with the new normal like most of us have.

I have few items on order and was really hoping they would arrive in time for a much needed family vacation to Colorado. The only one that came through with awesome customer service and great product was Matt at @BuiltRight.

I absolutely love your box set up. Super clean and you have all the essential equipment you need. Very much a sleeper Jeeper!

Ended up going with the Rugged Ridge snorkel. I like the thought of running the low one around town and swapping out to the high one for trails. It’s as easy as 4 screw to remove.
I painted the panel to match as well.

Next project, winch install. Waiting on mounting plate to come in, which should be this coming week.

Some days are better than others and the way things have been going today is one of those days. I had a trip planned to Palo Duro Canyon that I just cancelled due to a family emergency. So with the weather being perfect here in Texas at 75 degrees and blue skies I got a call that my RTT had arrived! I had been expecting it but the real surprise is when I got home from picking it up was on my door step.
The Joolca Hot shower kit arrived much sooner than expected, I love it when things arrive sooner than later.
Unfortunately I am still waiting on one major piece, the “Coming Soon” rack.

Did find some time this past weekend and installed the Warn winch and since the bumpers were off I found it was a good time to paint the tow hooks.

Well, unfortunately I couldn't wait on the "Coming Soon" Rack any longer. Spoke to them and they said another 2-3 months so I had to move on.
I went with the Softopper and Datin Roof rack combo.
Super impressed with the Softopper, the install was super easy and quality is top notch.
I'll have to reconfigure my internal bed set up, mainly my OBA but waiting on the rack to show up to make sure that it all works before I start modifying.
Datin rack should ship this week.

With the soft topper in place I re-worked the set-up in the bed to accommodate existing items and added a few new ones as well. Made provisions for a propane tank for the shower set up as well as a shovel. Need to create a quick latch system for the tank so it will be easier to remove. I have the latches already but just ran out of time this weekend.

On the left side: 2 foldable stools, water and fuel can, jumper cables.

In the front: Hi lift jack, hiking poles, shovel.

On the right side: On Board Air, Propane Tank, Recovery strap.

Datin Bed rack ships this week so getting close to having this together.

I felt "Fools Gold" was more fitting than "Gold Rush"



Rack and RTT are final assembled and on. Really stoked about the outcome, especially how everything came together. I am always expecting a fight with after market parts but not on these. What's really awesome is how all the different brands that I used seem to work well with each other or with very little modification. Considering the Molle panels, Softopper, and Bed rack are all fighting for the same space on the trail rail system, not to mention the items I added.

Added Jeep Badges of Honor on it as well.

Also made some brackets and mocked up the Water Tank. Trying to make everything easily removable when not in use.

Finally heading out this weekend for a camping trip so I'll get picture of the full set up.
Can't wait!
