Hey y’all! I’ve done a lot of window shopping online and a lot of forum creeping, but I’m still not sure I’ve found the right side steps for my needs. I’m looking for...

1. Something decently sturdy and well-made, but they don’t have to be full-on rock sliders
2. Something affordable (though I realize you get what you pay for)
3. Something without logos splashed all over
4. Something that blends with the truck body curves rather than being all angular
5. Something that can provide a functional step

My hands-down favorite right now in the Rock Hard rocker guards angled down. I’m hoping to find something less expensive, but I don’t know if such a thing exists.

My vote is ACE Engineering Rock sliders. It goes well with the rubicon rock slides already on rubicon JTs not sure what JT you have but it does check off all of your boxes

Tyger nerf bars on mine couple days ago couldn’t be happier. $369 + $158 shipping.

IMO the Rock Hards are well worth the cost. You may have found the several threads on them and other alternatives, one such thread is 50 pages long.

Another vote for Ace. I have had them on my past 3 Jeeps and love them on the Gladiator. They take a hard hit on rocks very well too!

Those Aces look really good, but do they require the OEM Rubicon sliders to complete the look? Looks like I see OEMs on top.

Yes they do seem to look best when used in conjunction with the stock rubicon sliders. Not a requirement to make them work but they dont cover up the pinch weld without the stock slider.
