Hey everyone. A week ago today I received the first production Maximus 3 sport bar/chase rack for my JT. I’m fortunate enough to be local to them and was able to work it out over the wait. I’ll start by saying what everyone has been wondering. Is it worth the wait? Absolutely. Very nice quality piece, extremely solid, and compliments my build very well. As far as install goes, I had the team at Maximus professionally install mine so I don’t have any direct input on that process other that I would suggest having a second set of hands. But let’s get to the pictures! I’ll try to post a range of photos of it installed and with the top in a couple positions (I have a soft top rubicon). If anyone has any special requests photo wise I’ll do my best to get them. I’m traveling for the holidays so my response might be a little slow. But I’ll say this ahead of time, no it won’t work with a roll up or hard bed cover lol

Appears that you have to drill into the bed/bed rails in several places. Is that true?
4 holes need to be drilled. One on each corner

Matt do those lights come with the Sports bar? How/where did you run the wires?

The brake lights did not come with it. I got them from the Maximus guys while I had them do the install and I don’t remember what the brand was. I’m sure if you called them they could tell you, they’re the same kind they used on their shop build. But They’re actually not wired in yet, that’s going to be my first spring project when it’s warm enough to work in my garage
