Damn... I don't know where to start, most of it is covered.. fire extinguisher, water, first aid, tools, T.P. winch stuff, bug spray, hmmm bear spray I do need to get it back in Jeep. Good for other animals too... ;)
registration, insurance card, phone and charger... ECT ECT. the list would take a hours to type up.

In every car I store the minimum:

Flashlight
Pen
Notepad
Emergency blanket
First aid kit (basic)
Tourniquet
Cleaner solution
Microfiber towel
Gum
Lighter
Sunglasses
Jacket
Tire goo and air compressor

I probably have more stuff that I forgot.

Some cars get a fire extinguisher if it fits. Yes, I'm a boy scout.

You didn't order those as standard from factory options?

This is for the extra stuff you carry yourself aside from standard equipment.

not to mention my matter/antimatter device that allows for time travel. this is cleverly disguised by FCA as a clock that loses time

I run naked a lot so I don't carry anything I would not like to see gone. I don't even lock the glovebox or center council . Don't want it broken fo no reason. So far I have had nothing come up missing. Not even my change.

around here the only people stealing change are your friends. Let them borrow a car and it comes back with no change!

Liquor Attorney. So not all bad...
Chainsaw or at least a cheap bow saw. Everyone carries axes but up north you are going to be happier with some sort of saw to remove trees across the trail. Maybe not EDC but certainly on any recreational drives...

You can get a cheap gas Ryobi with a soft sided case to carry everything. I have one of these bags [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y448QT7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1] and carry bar oil, 2 fuel bottles, extra chains (use sandwich tupperware - perfect waterproof and dustproof and greasy sh%t proof) and tools. A light weight 16in saw only weighs about 10lbs.

PS - totally realize that the OP is not up north...
