Hi,
I’m putting my build here for others to use as reference and so that we can all benefit from my experience with the parts I’ve chosen. My Gladiator will be here next month but I’ve been preparing for it by getting a lot of the parts for my build together. I’ll bore you with details later, here are pictures of what I’ve gotten ready so far. Parts list will be below.

MOPAR steel spare wheels PN 04755290AA
Kenda Klever 35x10.50r17
MOPAR TPMS sensors PN 6846466AB
MOPAR 2” Lift kit PN 77072468AB (obviously still in the crate)
Take-off Mojave rock sliders PNs 68341315AA and 68341314AA.
I also ordered the Rebel Off Road Xplor half rack from Steve at Rebel Off Road today. I have a Tepui Autana XL Ruggedized that will probably ride on it for a little while as I build a trailer up for camping. More pics will follow, but I’ll likely wait until the Jeep gets here since we can all look at pictures of parts whenever we feel like it.

Forgot to add plans and extra details -
My Galdiator is a 2021 Sport with only two options, a hard top and limited slip rear diff. It is a 6 speed manual with MANUAL WINDOWS :)
Looking at a regear to 4.88 using Dana Spicer R&Ps, and probably the 1.5” spacers in front in addition to the lift.
According to the math, 4.10 gears will give almost exactly the same ratios/rpm range as factory with the Kendas at 34.3” and I’ve read that the manual feels like it’s geared a little high with the stock running gear @ 3.73:1. Waiting to see what I think before I buy the R&Ps. That’s all for now, thanks for checking out my thread!

Interested to see how the narrow tires look. Also, sweet Duc!

If you are not planning on running 37s ever with the manual and your wheel/tire setup using 4.56 gears would be optimal for you.

I’m a big fan of tall skinny tires, I’d definitely run 37x10.50 if they made them. Thanks, I’m super happy with the Sportclassic!

I agree, I need to have my Gladiator for a little while to make a final decision. I’m still considering buying a Defender 130 double cab pickup and storing it in Europe on a military installation until it’s 25 years old though. If I love the Jeep and abandon the Defender idea I’ll be going to 37s on Hutchinson beadlocks after I wear the 35s out though, and I won’t be taking the Jeep up to speeds that will push the engine into any distress with the 35s and 4.88s. We’ll see how she does going up vail pass and Eisenhower in stock trim and make the call...
I really like the steel wheels. They should've just put them on the Sport model.
100% agree!

Not sure if by “they” you meant Kenda specifically, but if you meant “they” generically to mean anyone, Nitto makes a 37x10.5, but they are 18”. They (Nitto specifically, not generically) have a request size link on their website; if enough people ask for 37x10.5x17, maybe they (Nitto specifically, not generically) will release them.

We (as in I, specifically) and a few others have put in the request.

Edit: we lied, they’re 37x11.5x18. So, uh...never mind.:bandit:

I meant “they” generically, but I’ll do my part and go request 37x10.5r17 at Nitto’s (specifically) website to help the cause!

Very interested to see this come together. If I buy, I’m thinking the same options as you got (plus the aux/tow). It’s funny my 2006 rubicon has about the same level of options as your base sport including “no power windows” and I can’t think of a time that I would have wanted them. But being able to open a window with the Jeep off is something I do all the time.

I was also thinking the same as you for re-gearing, so I’m interested to hear what you think of the stock gearing with the 35’s and to see what you decide to do on the regear—and how you like the finished result.

Nice call on the steel wheels. I was very close getting them too but ended up with wider ones so I am more flexible on tires sizes going forward. It is frustrating that jeep only supplies 7.5 inch wide rims stock.

Finally picked up my Gladiator the day after Christmas! I’ve been super busy since. Got the rock sliders, bed rack, LED tail lights, and stubby antenna on so far. Waiting a little bit to put the lift and wheels/tires on. I’ve got a lot of traveling for work to do this month and it’s super cold here anyway.
At the dealership with 6 miles:

In my driveway with rock sliders installed the next day:

Rebel Off Road half rack and LED tail lights installed:

And the easiest install so far was this little 6” Votex antenna from Amazon that ACTUALLY WORKS!

Ordered a Tazer Mini from @zauto and got a shipping notification text today so I’m super excited about that too! I’ll be back again once I get the lift and wheels/tires on!

I have a couple of test fit pics to share! These are without the lift installed and only one at a time but might help others wondering about fitting them on a stock rig. Personally I wouldn’t try it. It looks like they would stuff up and destroy the milk jug thin factory inner fender liners if you hit a speed bump too hard.
An interesting thing that I discovered was that the wheel’s inner surface to brake caliper clearance is kind of tight. My wedding ring is 6mm wide and easily slid through the gap but I was worried just eyeballing it.
I sold the TJ that was holding up my progress on building the JT today, so hopefully soon I’ll get to put my lift on and finally bolt these bad boys up for real. The wife wouldn’t let me work on the new Jeep until the old one I bought to flip was gone...
Oh and I almost forgot - the factory steel wheel hubcaps / center caps work with these wheels perfectly! So if you’re changing over from alloys just pick up a set of the factory steel centers and you’re good to go!
