This past weekend I got and installed Nilight LED lights and SEVEN X hood light mounts. This all cost me less than $60 and took less than an hour to install. I used Kuject solder seal connectors, some shrink tubing, and fabric electrical tape to match the factory stuff..

The solder joint are really nice. You just use a heat gun. The ends fuse to wire sheath to create a watertight seal then the metal inside melts to solder the wires together. Then i just covered them up with shrink tubing to his the joint.

I used a wire fish rod to pull the driver side light wires through the channel.

All in all a very easy project if you have the factory aux block. here is the before and after.

One thing i had to do was add a couple washers to clearance the lights and keep them off the body parts.. The lights really are not that bright but really open up the sides in the dark. I may upgrade them in the future to a higher LUMEN but for the price and the time it took i am happy with the outcome.
