Glad(iator) Dogs! Let's see 'em!

I don't have my gladiator yet but Captain and Ozzie are both rescue dogs. Ozzie doesn't like going in my truck, but Captain loves going for truck rides!

We had two like these... We named them Get off The Rug and You Too. Two beautiful friends, you're just gonna have to love them forever.

Beauty. Is it an active SAR dog? Been wanting to get into that but couldn't find anyone local to work with. Local Scutzhund club were a bunch of stuck up snobs... pedigree...blah blah blah

Having worked with Scutzhund Dogs (Law Enforcement Agitator, mostly German Schephersds, Rottweilers and Bouvie's). I can attest that breed clubs can be difficult. I recommend looking into where you local Law Enforcement Agency gets their dogs... and where they get them trained.... Typically, Police Dogs when received already have a basic or advanced Scutzhund background, which is primarily focused on obedience. Trainng a SAR dog is secondary to that training. Get the dog to mind and follow commands first, and then the scent, cadaver, or whatever format you are interested in.

If my 5150 Giant Schnauzer got loose with your 5150 Shedder, there would be a lot of broken furniture and paw prints on the ceiling. I can just see these to tear assing around the campsite..... I'm telling you, Atticus is stone cold CRAZY.... but in a good way.
