  1. When will order banks open for Gladiator Diesel?

It’s not on the build tool yet but the diesel option is showing on the build sheet posted for this month for the 2021 model. Jeep build page will likely show it in the next few days to a week.
  2. New Gladiator High Altitude Model Now On Jeep.com Builder

So the high altitude trim isn’t my thing, but the value isn’t off. Add all the features that come standard on this on an Overland and the overland comes in a couple hundred cheaper. You could make that up selling the stupid looking 20s. Comes standard with led package, proximity locks, safety...
  3. New Gladiator High Altitude Model Now On Jeep.com Builder

It’s not about cooling, crash test are the reason they won’t drop a hemi in the Gladiator. In a front end collision the hemi would end up in the front seats because it takes nearly every inch of the engine bay to fit. Aftermarket swaps don’t require crash test.
  4. When will order banks open for Gladiator Diesel?

Problem is the ones on the lots are loaded Rubicons when most people don’t want many of the options. Why pay $60k for a vehicle when I could get a Rubicon with the options I want for $10k less and a sport s with my desired options for $20k less. Dealers bit themselves in the ass on that.
  5. All differences between Rubicon and Sport with Max Tow?

Everything I’ve read about LED lights says they are brighter but don’t necessarily project light any farther than Halogen. Personal preference definitely comes into play with them. I don’t have a JT yet, so everything I post is based on research I’ve done. I have 4 kids, with my oldest heading...
  6. All differences between Rubicon and Sport with Max Tow?

Not LED headlights or marker lights. You can get LED taillights with the safety package.
  7. All differences between Rubicon and Sport with Max Tow?

I looked on cars.com and found a new rubicon with 17 miles on it for $39k. Granted that is pretty much base rubicon but still $4k less than Jeep’s MSRP
  8. This virus is killing my new truck buzz

And you, as the consumer, would have the choice to go where they have 4K imaging. With certificate of need laws, your choice is taken away from you.
  9. This virus is killing my new truck buzz

I disagree, Hospitals would have to compete for services, therefore lowering prices for us. And if you think hospitals only bill for imaging therefore wouldn’t be able to charge for anything if xrays were taken elsewhere you need to look at a hospital bill. Because they know they are the only...
  10. This virus is killing my new truck buzz

While I agree that the response would have probably been more adequate under previous administrations, the problem was caused by the Nixon administration in 1974 when they started implementing certificate of need requirements for healthcare facilities. Now the nation is not equipped to handle...
  11. Electric Wrangler

Thing is, we have developed the tech to feed more people, it’s called GMOs. But privileged white housewifes have rallied up in protest against them. We don’t need every engineer and scientist on the planet working on the same problem. Just because someone is working on an electric Jeep doesn’t...
  12. Proximity Entry should be added to IPhone

Not sure about the JT, but I know my wife’s Journey won’t allow you to lock the doors with the FOB inside the vehicle.
  13. Negative gladiator sales article

Saw a guy comment on a Jeep Facebook ad this morning that the Gladiator should be about $15k cheaper, which would make it the cheapest midsize truck on top of being the most capable. I let him know that a base Gladiator is $33k, $15k cheaper would be in the Kia Soul price range. You can’t get a...
  14. When will order banks open for Gladiator Diesel?

I’m optimistic, I think the orders will begin end of Q1 with first deliveries sometime in Q2. A lot still waiting for their orders from October on the JL side though so who knows.
  15. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

I read it. What it didn’t say was those axles were added to all trim levels, which they were.
  16. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

The article also says 3.73 gearing is optional on Rubicon, which is not true at this time. When the ecodiesel is released it will have 3.73 on all trims but it’s not available on the Gladiator yet. So I’d take anything said in the rest of the article with a grain of salt.
  17. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

This article fails to mention other trims at all. All Gladiators have the Gen 3 Dana 44s with 10mm thicker tubes. Rubicon, Mojave and Sports with Max Tow package are wide track that are 1.5 inches wider than Overland and Sports without Max Tow.
  18. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

Yes, same transfer case. The fact that the rear locker can be used in 4 HI is appealing.
  19. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

The low range ratio is the same as every non rubicon. Max tow package doesn’t have a special transfer case.
  20. Jeep star graphic for non veteran?

8 years in the Army here, I agree with the others, the star decal is not a veteran thing. More for Jeep’s heritage starting with military vehicles in WW2. I have a CIB on my current truck and will on my JT as well, that’s a veteran only thing, specifically an 11 or 18 series that have earned it.
