  1. What green is this?

I actually like that green, probably would've picked it over the Sting Gray. it's a million times better than that Gecko color. Now that's one of the worst colors for anything bigger than a night light, and Nacho is only slightly better.
  2. Tired of the switch blade key fob opening. I found a cure

This. Doesn't fix the size issue, but definitely keeps the key from popping out.
  3. Silverado EV promises 20k towing capability + mid gate design

beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I know some say the gladiator is ugly, but almost every chevy truck i've ever seen is either the most boring looking vehicle, or the most hideous.
  4. Who else is happy with the Pentastar?

I have no problems with my Pentastar. I too came from a V6 1st Gen Tacoma. It gets me where I want to go. Pulled my trailer no problem. Carries my stuff. Gets me home. Gets me to 75mph +/- on the freeway no problem. Has been extremely reliable and has done everything I've asked it to do, except...
  5. Did you buy your JT because of the bed or for towing???

Both. I had a tacoma for 20 years and liked having a truck to carry stuff. I also have a small travel trailer that I wanted to tow around, and the 7000lb towing capacity is more than enough to meet my need for that, and then some.
  6. New emissions recall for 2020 Gladiator 3.6L. Any thoughts.

Just checked. I’m good. Thanks for the tip. Mine was an early 2020 build. Don’t know if that makes a difference.
  7. Front License Plate Mounting Ideas... what do you think?

Used the plastic plate mount from the steel OEM bumper and mounted it on top of the bumper in front of the winch control box with a couple of L-brackets.
  8. KC Halogen lights to JT Aux switches

Looks good. What's this mopar light bracket you're referring to? Also, did you use the relay?
  9. KC Halogen lights to JT Aux switches

The amp draw is 8.3A per light. So that's a total draw of 16.8. So is the relay needed if you plan to run it to one of the 15A switches, or do I need to use one of the larger switches? I think I"m getting a set for x-mas from wifey, so this thread interests me.
  10. The Definitive Front Bumper Thread

    OEM steel bumper.
  11. Apex Badland 12,000 synthetic winch

I think I picked mine up for like $499, new in box.
  12. A Bucket List Trip to the Rubicon Trail

Let me know next time you go. I've been doing some exploring up in Mendo and Snow Mountain, but it's been such a long time since I've been to Cow, I wouldn't even know where to go.
  13. A Bucket List Trip to the Rubicon Trail

That was rad! didn't look like he came out much worse for wear either. I think I remember seeing some photos of the test trucks doing the Rubicon on 31" and 33" tires. Gives me hope!
  14. A Bucket List Trip to the Rubicon Trail

Definitely want to see this. Definitely a run I want to do some day. I have no plans for a big lift and tires as in I'll probably put 35s on when I wear out the stock MTs, but would like to see someone else do it first. lol
  15. Jeep Shoes

total x-mas gift idea. I mean I would probably never buy these, but if Santa put a pair under the tree, I would totally rock these.
  16. If you had $1500 to spend on your Jeep today....

Probably some KC Gravity Pros for the front and set of amber rear trailing lights, possibly some headliners and a sun-shade. or ask me in another year or so, and I'll say a set of new tires.
  17. Jeep gladiator your first Jeep?

This is my first jeep. My last was a '98 Tacoma I drove for 20 years. So yeah, I don't go through vehicles very often. I'm hoping this one lasts me a long time.
  18. Good deals on winches?

Yes. Mine fit perfectly using the Rockhard 4x4 winch plate. Here's a whole thread on installing the winch. Many of us have the OEM steel bumper. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/new-apex-12k-harbor-freight-winch-install.23358/page-11#post-837505
  19. Zero Issues with Gladiator?

Picked up my JTR in March 2020, has about 20,000 miles, no mis-firing issues. Actually hardly any issues other then an electrical gremlin that was found and fixed under warranty by my local dealership.
  20. Oh Jeep... Why you so backwards?

    the way it's set-up seems very natural to me. 1 as at the top/up of the list, and you go down/backwards as the number gets higher. Top/Forward 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Bottom/Backward
