  1. BILLET SILVER Gladiator JT Club

Magic 8 ball says.... Mopar lift and 35s
  2. Flush Mount LED Tail Lights for Jeep JT | Group Buy Pre-Order

If you have OEM halogen tail lights and are upgrading to these, installing the resisters on BOTH light elements (brake light and reverse light) solved my issues and they've worked great for weeks. Last I knew they were still working on the fix for swapping from OEM LED to these Oracle LEDs.
  3. Clear Coat Flaking?

Didn't you already respond to my previous post saying there was bird poop that may have been on that spot? It sure looks like that could have been what caused this due to the size of it and location, and there's definitely digestive fluids that could eat through paint to make it look like this...
  4. Clear Coat Flaking?

Did any bird poop sit on there for an extended period of time? I'd just take it to the dealer, have them give it a look. The only real widespread paint issues I've really seen on forums/groups is corrosion near the door hinges.
  5. Installing Mopar Rear Bed Rock Rails on Overland and Sport Gladiators

Agreed, I think the Redrock ones have better functionality (and value), but I stumbled across a JT steel rear bumper that included the rear rock rail brackets and rails for $100 on FB marketplace , so just trying to get the info straightened out for everyone else going down this route.
  6. Installing Mopar Rear Bed Rock Rails on Overland and Sport Gladiators

A longer M12 bolt should go through the opposite way that this pic shows, but it also goes through both walls of that hitch bracket below the frame rail, and then the end of the bolt threads into that pressed-in nut on the rock rail bracket. There's also a spacer (small pipe section) that sits...
  7. Installing Mopar Rear Bed Rock Rails on Overland and Sport Gladiators

Are you sure you have the length of the M12 bolts listed correctly? When I measure my sliders they seem like they'd need to be 100mm or a hair longer if you bolt it all the way through both sides of the bracket directly below the frame rail with the spacer between like this pic shows.
  8. 392 Steering Wheel Retrofit

Im interested, please add me to the list.
  9. Bed Cover Preference: Roll Up or Flip Up, and Why?

Yes, my dad's gladiator has the Mopar soft roll cover, and it definitely flops at highway speeds since there's no Velcro along the sides like most soft tonneaus. It also does not lock shut, even with the tailgate closed so someone can easily pry up the end portion to take a peek in your bed. It...
  10. Bed Cover Preference: Roll Up or Flip Up, and Why?

I've got the Rugged Ridge hard tri fold, works great for me. Their tri-fold comes with the struts to hold the panels vertical near the cab's back window which I think the MOPAR one lacks, so if you get a tri-fold make sure it's got that as they make it very easy to get near full access to the...
  11. Group 48 and 94R batteries

July 2019 build date on my max tow without factory aux switches, I also have the shorter battery with the spacer in the tray at the front edge of the battery. I'll keep this thread in mind when I need to swap it out in a few years. Good info here.
  12. Flush Mount LED Tail Lights for Jeep JT | Group Buy Pre-Order

I think the JL version was likely a bit easier for them to design considering how much of the light actually faces rearward. Aside from that, they seem extremely similar to me, though I agree the JL version does look better.
  13. Aftermarket rear steel bumpers that bolt up to the Mopar bed rock rails?

Ah, I see what you're saying, that Rusty's bumper uses the brackets that the rock rails would typically mount to.
  14. Aftermarket rear steel bumpers that bolt up to the Mopar bed rock rails?

That one fully replaces the bed rock rails instead of utilizing them, but I suppose it achieves the same outcome of bed protection. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Aftermarket rear steel bumpers that bolt up to the Mopar bed rock rails?

I'm looking into aftermarket bumpers, and I'm curious if anyone has found any that were designed to still bolt up to the MOPAR bed rock rails? By "bolt up" I mean the bumper attaches to the 2 bolt points that each of the 2 rock rails use to attach to the ends of the MOPAR rear steel bumper...
  16. Mopar Katzkins Stitched Leather Part Numbers

@JeepCares, mind helping this fella out? OP, don't give in and purchase these at your cost. It should obviously be easy for someone at JEEP to look up your build and see that they installed the katzkins in them. Maybe JeepCares can get you connected to the right people at Jeep.
  17. Forum Exclusive Groupbuy from ORACLE Lighting: Heated Oculus

I was wondering the same, that little bit of snow/ice build up on the headlight lens should be easily melted by the heating elements.
  18. Dealership said NO to recalibrating to 37s? How is it typically done?

I'm guessing they'll only rewrite a service contract and recalibrate up to 35s (since this is now a factory option with the extreme recon package on the JL). You'll need to get your own programmer to change the tire size after they install it. Tazer and JScan are the most popular ones. As a...
  19. Gladiator Expedition Rigs

"Seems like I’ll never be done sanding" will change to "Seems like I can't stop staring" when she's done. Awesome progress and thanks for sharing the build.
  20. Is selec track (or full time 4WD) inherently bad or weaker?

My 2004 GC overland WJ has the NV247 t-case (shifter has full time 4WD and 4WD low options) , and it along with the varilock front and rear axles is an absolute beast in winter conditions. I figured I'd sell the WJ after I got my JT, but after driving the JT in winter conditions it's no where...
