  1. New to the forum! Need some advise, please.

Welcome! I'm not a salesman, but I think you'll love the Gladiator. I find it to be such a fun vehicle to drive. As far as reliability, I believe Jeep is just as reliable as any mass produced vehicle of today.
  2. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Took mine for a drive through the mountains. Was surprised most of the roads have been very well taken care of.
  3. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

So can the track bar brace be installed WITHOUT the sector shaft brace?? I can't see why not.
  4. Fuel efficency

I have only 400 miles. 2" lift 35" Falkens. Im getting around 16.3 mpg no highways yet. I believe it will improve after break in. With my old truck I saw a great increase after about 12k. I was averaging 21.5 mpg.
  5. Gladiator driver's seat

I'm 5'4 and love the drivers seat! For the first time in my life I can raise my seat up high and feel like an average sized man and see over the hood!
  6. Quadratec

I've had good service from them. Recently I found out they have a warehouse 20 minutes from my house lol.
  7. 8 Speed Behavior

I'm guessing it also needs to "learn" my driving style. It's only got 400 miles on it.
  8. 8 Speed Behavior

I noticed after driving around with my new Gladiator how it behaves on hills. I find it hard to get used to, and I guess it's normal. When driving down a steep mountain road today, my engine starts to really rev but also acts like it's an engine brake. I don't need to use my brakes nearly as...
  9. What did you do TO your Gladiator today?

New Sport decal installed and some of my window stickers. Two time Kidney transplant recipient. Western Maryland Railway 1852-1983
  10. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Well I'll probably go ahead and throw the brace on anyway. The bracket needs the extra support. Who knows when I'll go back to the dealer or if the "fix" is really fixed.
  11. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

I'm scheduled to have the Synergy brace installed next Wednesday. Now what?? I guess if it helps then I'll just leave it. If it doesn't then I'll consider the new steering box update.
  12. Pennsylvania FOX 2.0 TS Stabilizer

This is still available! I will be willing ship to PA, MD, WV, VA.
  13. 12” Ram screen in a JT

That's too much screen for a vehicle imo. The 8.4 is plenty and probably should be the ideal size for most vehicles. I hardly use the screen anyway. Only to glance at radio stations and my temperature. Set it and forget it.
  14. Accurately Measuring Tires

Btw in case anyone wants to know I used the Rough Country calibrator. It was easy except step 1 says to plug into PC and select your vehicle. Well nothing happened when I did this. It had the latest update, but I couldn't find anything about selecting my vehicle. Well apparently it didn't matter...
  15. Accurately Measuring Tires

I finally got it 99% accurate. I entered 33.50 and it's spot on. I used a highly rated app to compare.
  16. Accurately Measuring Tires

Thanks everyone. Question...i think im a little dyslexic lol. If my speedometer reads 40 but my app says 41 then i need to lower my tire size right?
  17. What brand oil filter do you use on your Gladiator?

Wow. I worked at a farm equipment dealership for a couple years. Couldn't stand the management. I witnessed a few shady practices myself...in fact I was involved in a couple. Glad I'm not there anymore. I was fired thank God...soaked up the unemployment benefits.
  18. New to lift kits - Need help with choosing the right one

They are 35" tires. When you life a Jeep sometimes the front axle will shift to one side. An adjustable track bar will re-center the axle. It's separate from an alignment.
