Why would somebody run a dual setup at this point in time. The pass through resolves any push that some ppl report with non pass through. The adjustability lets ppl tune the steering feel. The double setup is more install effort and more parts to break.
Get the Fox or Falcon Nexus pass through adjustable if you want to be sure you will get desired results. With my Falcon Nexus 2.2 I can definitely feel the difference when on the firm setting.
That quote is very very high, perhaps the staff member you spoke with was also very high!
I just had the 1 inch Teraflex spacer installed in the front of my Mojave and a 3/4 inch rear. Parts and labour (2hrs for both ends) was just over $400 Canadian bucks, so that’s like $300 usd.
Hopefully...
I was pleased with the Mohave flex with 35's and 1 inch spacers and nothing else suspension wise, but the Flex connect can remove the side to side shit that comes with stock rigs and improve flex on trails that are not smooth beaches or forest service roads. This isn't a comparison thread, this...
I spoke with their tech team about this, they stated most ppl want to disconnect, my reply; then why waste money on the flex connect? seems very pointless. I already have the disconnect links from my last Jeep sitting here, not installing them because I'm not cutting the bracket this time...
You’re going to need a level after putting the winch and bumper combo as this will drop your front end 1/2 to a full inch.
you can always go light and order an aluminum stubby and get synthetic rope.
the times I’ve needed my winch to self extract i sure was happy to have it!!!!
Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, with the standard JKS system cutting the passenger side axle tab is required. To avoid this the Flex connect link can be purchased as a stand alone part, then you would need to source an adjustable link for the passenger side to match the Flex connect length.
I somewhat followed my plan and did things in this order;
-5 315/70r17 AT3W’s
-ARB stubby bumper
-WARN m8000s
-1 inch front spacers, 3/4 inch rear spacers
- bet mat, had a Trail FX and never have I has anything the smelled so foul anf strong of chemicals, aftet two weeks if daily washes with...
This is going too far, it is really just a bunch of speculation that means close to nothing. The rebuild thing is for hard users, which is not many ppl. Taking your Mojave out to a few low speed trails or basic forest service roads is not going to destroy your shocks. Like if you do meth on...
Haha! Some of us take our elderly family members out to enjoy things they can't access in their elderly person vehicles. Living in an area where cell service goes away within 20 mins north of home, campfire dinners are not that abnormal for a change of scenery. It is especially nice right now...
Great tires! I've had a few sets and run them now in 35's on my Mojave. I've never had a tire last more than 55000km and still drive nice and perform as expected. This is likely due to running MT's in the past. Yes, these tires are heavy'ish, but if you want a tire that is robust and not...
After putting abut 50 miles on this evening on the terrible roads in my area that suffer from endless frost heaving and cracking pavement I am so far pleased with the Nexus 2.2 on Medium. Tmrw I will do a hwy drive of about 200 miles on Firm and see what I think.
Finally got the Teraflex Nexus 2.2 installed, after a very quick drive I am happy as I can be with it I guess. Feels better than with no stabilizer! As for relocating, not sure if it would work with only a 1 inch lift on a Mojave. Open to any experienced feedback.
After owning a ZR2 diesel that drove incredibly well I was in the position to either delete/tune or just get a Mojave. (Was having way too many emissions issues) With no local support and no warranty with the delete/tune and the cost to do it swapping back to a gas engine was an easy choice...
I agree with the relocate. I relocated on my JK's with the OME stabilizer setup. I needed whatever was quality and available quick in my area so I didn't order any relocation parts. This Mojave will only get a 1 inch front spacer and a 3/4 inch rear spacer for lift, up front I figure I lost...
I’ve had a few Jeeps that saw some good wheeling but never destroyed a stabilizer quite like this! No other apparent damage thankfully, managed to not contact anything other than this and the control arm mount
