I can't like this enough. I feel the exact same way. When I heard yellow was coming, I was excited because I loved my Solar Yellow TJ. I was hoping for hella yella, but I can't get on board with high velocity. They've had so many great colors in the past and this just feels like a missed...
I still think that was a typo referencing Gecko that was finishing up its 2021 run. Nothing is official until it's official and even then, I don't trust anything 100% until you can order it and it shows up at the dealer. High Velocity was supposed to be a 2022 color too and obviously, that...
That's not too bad I suppose. Around 8.5 weeks since the order books opened compared to around 10 weeks for the Wrangler. I'm still waiting on something official confirming new colors for the year even if they're not immediately available.
I would say it's a fabric, but not necessarily cloth. The standard top is more like vinyl. The premium top feels like a softer fabric (cotton-like) and is a darker shade of black.
It's funny how people see colors differently. I don't see any green to this at all. I ordered a can and sprayed out a sample. I don't see any green in real life either. To me, it's gray that favors baby blue in the light. The Toyota color (lunar rock?) looks way more green to me in person...
Nope, and nothing to indicate that they will. And no Ocean Blue, Chief Blue, Tuscadero, Hella Yellow, or Bikini (all the other JL only colors). Jeep usually only adds one or two new colors a year and that includes bringing back old colors. We haven't seen an official press release from...
We'll see; if we have to wait a month then it could be another three weeks before we see something. I do find it odd that they specifically state that Earl replaces Snazzberry on the JL. So, I wonder why it wouldn't do the same on the JT. JT only has 8 colors available right now while JL has...
Yeah, I'm hoping in the next month or so we'll forget all about this article because we'll all be anxiously checking the tracker website waiting for our Earl builds to be scheduled. I think there are a lot more people waiting for Earl than High Velocity.
I'll believe that when I can see pictures of one that aren't obviously a black truck that's been wrapped, or someone can provide a VIN where we can look at the window sticker. Not saying you're wrong, I've just never seen anything to confirm that you're right.
Either way, it's a different...
What do you mean used to look like? That's High Velocity - that's the paint code which was a new color for the 2022 JL. It was never any different color.
I wouldn't trust much until you see a press release from Stellantis or your dealer shows you the order screen. We saw an early fleet order guide for 2022 that had both Earl and High Velocity on it for the Gladiator and it never happened. Reign was supposed to be a 2022 color for the JL and it...
