  1. Rubicon rear shocks- pogo suspension?

I was thinking about Monroe or some Rancho 9000’s. I’ll hang out for the comments and other recommendations, maybe there will be something new/interesting to try.
  2. Rubicon rear shocks- pogo suspension?

Hello, I have a build plan, however, we are waiting to go full steam ahead…. For the time being- I have to change the rear factory shocks. I cannot stand the constant pogo bouncing anymore. They are fine around town at slow speed. However at highway speed every bump the rear end bounces-...
  3. Ecodiesel power derating as temps rise?

can we circle back to this?? Which is the oil in and which is the oil out? I really think that you are hitting a point that’s being glasses over and could actually be an issue. fluid is going to take the path of least resistance. So, for example if the “in” to the newly added oil cooler is...
  4. Ecodiesel power derating as temps rise?

Where are you all buying your line fittings from? Jegs? Summit?
  5. Do i need to adjust tire size up or down?

This probably has a lot to do with weight…. I didn’t look it up- but I bet the milestars are 10-12# lighter per corner…
  6. Do i need to adjust tire size up or down?

These are some incredibly light weight tires!!!! 😬
  7. Bed Cap for my 2022 Gladiator Overland

Century/leer here. If I could do it over again I would go with a go fast racing camper or an alucab. Reasons? Weight handling, and material they are made of.
  8. Do all 3.0L's have the same transfer case?

You are totally correct- rubicon diesel cannot have the full time 4wd, my apologies. rubicon is only offered with the 4:1 transfer case. All others have the lesser reduction 2.73:1. 🍺👍🏼
  9. Do all 3.0L's have the same transfer case?

If you build a rubicon gladiator diesel it will come standard with a “4:1 Rock-Trac Part-Time 4WD system” it has the option for “4:1 Rock-Trac FULL TIME 4wd system” it will not come- even though the sticker shows it… with 4.10 axle gears…. (Left column shows 4.10– right shows the 3.73’s.)
  10. Anatomy of the oil cooler and filter housing.

Can you confirm the direction of flow? mom assuming the “in” is the lower orfice and out is the upper….. I’m not seeing how the current concept of utilizing the two bungs will allow oil to flow through an external cooler and still allow for proper oil filtration. You have the components in...
  11. Can a jeep gladiator pull an escape trailer 5th wheel

Esh… I just figured with how far forward the rear axle sits, and how short the bed is, that once slid forward you really cut down on your box front to cab clearance for turning….. kind of negates the purpose.
  12. Can a jeep gladiator pull an escape trailer 5th wheel

Can the hitch really be placed directly over the axle, and have the frame tie points required?? I just don’t understand why….. these are toys and not haulers.
  13. All girls garage installing a gooseneck on a JTD ???

If you don’t need to tow very often I can see the logic in picking up a 1/2 ton truck. If you tow a lot you are beating the piss out of a 1/2 ton. our next tow vehicle will be a 450/550 capacity for the simple fact that all of the wear and tear components are that much more overbuilt than...
  14. Flexed/flexing- show off 😎 post your photo & info!

Well done!! You have most of my dream sheet for suspension- only thing missing is the RK 4 link rear. 🍺 (I greatly dislike how the factory 5 link rides……) great build! 🍺
  15. Flexed/flexing- show off 😎 post your photo & info!

Can you post up some info on what you have done? Springs, shocks, etc?? 😎. Looks to be well thought out and not a box lift.
  16. Cold Air Intake Diesel

800 and it leaves the dpf intact! 🤮
  17. Who is running 37"-40" tires on the diesel

I think we are on the same page. I do find it an interesting compounding factor- the transmission tunes from the factory limit torque in first and second gear. If they are limiting tq through the transmission- why compound it with the differential limitation as well? 🤷🏽‍♂️ At the end of the...
  18. Who is running 37"-40" tires on the diesel

Personally I’m not worried about it- if the dealer is going to go down the road of whatever item (assuming transmission or motor) that the claim is being put in for; they are likely going to argue larger tires did the damage as much as the gearing…. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Sometimes it’s worth finding the dealer...
  19. Who is running 37"-40" tires on the diesel

Isn’t the M210 the same axle used with the recon package though??
