Can we get a photographic who’s who going? I have been seeing some great Gladiators out in the wild and just wonder if they are here. Maybe add some details so they are searchable-
Granite Gray, central Pa., Delaware Bay, camper, RTT etc.
Okay, am I the only one who seemingly gets BETTER mileage with the windows down, or the top off, or RTT on, or the rack mounted with crap hanging off of it?
I swear anything that I do to disrupt the original aerodynamics actually improves the mpg.
I'm talking about normal highway driving 65-75...
Normally I give to kids, Vets, and dogs.
Dogs and kids can't get for themselves. Vets sacrificed everything for us.
Last night my wife and I had just finished dinner at a local restaurant that we frequent a few times a month. Chatting with the waitress she mentions how she and her husband had...

Apparently my thread was shut. Anyone know why?

Tire carrier 65lbs plus the 33” spare tire
Just finished reading a thread about poor customer service from dealership. Rather then perpetuate that thread with how things should have been handled (from my 15 years in a dealership), I figured that I would start a new vent area.
Where have the standards gone?
Not talking about unrealistic...
Someone in a new SUV gets stuck in the sand somewhere that they shouldn't really be. No risk of further danger or damage to them or the vehicle. A couple of hundred yards back is a sign saying 'Stuck in the sand? We can help'.
Do you help? or let it be a lesson?
Mopar Brake Controller is on Back-order........what now?
I know there are a ton of threads on this but where are we now? I would really like to be able to purchase a plug-and-play controller. O.E. would make me happy but only if they got it sorted out. RedArc looks good but do you still need...
There was some interest in hitting Rausch Creek late Oct - Nov.
If you are interested, what are your goals and what dates work? What level are you and your truck?
@Knightindullarmor says that he has a pretty good handle on some of the trails. If not, I did reach out to Off Road Consulting...
While still loaded on a camping trip and sitting 3 inches low in the rear, we went to do Dickey Bell. Going south to north and up the hill. Of course I took the hard sides going up (not realizing quite how low we were). Got hi-centered on the fuel tank. Pulled some line and on we went.
Headed up to NH to see my brother. Then headed to Jericho to get the BOH. Anyone familiar with it? They say it can be tough, and I know some areas are definitely for rock buggies. Any real world answers would be appreciated.
It's the best of both worlds!
I always wanted to organize a cross country beer run, maybe an all terrain beer run is in order......
Bandit Edition, no. 3 of 3 produced
38 inch tires
22 inch wheels
I have the brackets, but looking to see how everyone is attaching their boards to the mount. Maxtrax makes some nice mounting pins but they are currently not available.
The trick is to have them secure but also readily available for use. Do not want to just through bolt them and have to unbolt...
What if Jeep came up with a vehicle classification system on top of their ambiguous 'Trail Difficulty Rating'.
Kind of like this (inaccurate idea)
Class A- any Jeep with 4wd
Class B- any Jeep with 4wd and off road tires
Class C- Short wheelbased Jeeps with 33" tires, long wheelbased with 35"...
KB Voodoo Max Modular Alumax rack, 22" tall, 47" long with tonneau cover brackets. Puts my RTT about an inch and a half above my hardtop. I also bought the cheapo Amazon tonneau cover for a Colorado for $160 and 'Bob's you uncle'!
Voodoo Fabrications was super to deal with. I had a couple of...
Speaking for a friend......
After putting on a few thousand miles here are their thoughts on 35" Nitto M/T's on the highway with a stock Rubicon -
Overall fairly quiet for what they are
running cold 36 psi which does grow to 41 psi
up to 70 mph no problem
75 - 85 mph you DO notice bumps
So after a few years away I am headed back to Connecticut. I looked up Olde Burnside to find their hours only to find that they have permanently closed. Much sadness......... Ten Penny was my favorite beer. I even had a keg of it shipped (smuggled) to a local bar for my wife's birthday a few...
