  1. Black Friday + Cyber Monday aftermath thread -- what did you buy your Gladiator? 🎁

One of my purchases was a Bestop Tonneau cover to get delivered for in store pickup at a local 4WheelParts. Eight phones calls later just to get status and I'm told the cover is not in stock (their website said it was) and there is a 6 month backlog! It just so happens that Northridge...
  2. 2023 Jeep Gladiator Order…What step are you in?

The ship date for my Jeep was the date it was loaded onto the train in Belvedere, Illinois. It took 8 days and a couple of truck rides to get there. From there it was 16 days to get to the Los Angeles area rail yard. Yours should be shorter than that given you are in Utah. My guess is your...

  4. A different kind of question about tonneau covers…

I think tonneau covers are needed because they protect what you carry from the elements and prying eyes. With a child on the way I think you'll need one. Now, for a person that needs a cover but doesn't want a cover, then you want one that can easily be removed when you don't want it. I had...
  5. BlackFriday + CyberMonday deals thread

I think it it will go good. I had the $764.99 price in my shopping cart on Nov 21st. When I checked out, the Bestop discount price of $849 was not reflected. They charged the $949 price. I don't know when it changed and I didn't detect it until the following day. After 3 phone calls I have...
  6. BlackFriday + CyberMonday deals thread

So, you would match Auto Anything's price of $764.99 for the Black Twill Sunrider? Too late for me, but how would someone get you to match that price?
  7. BlackFriday + CyberMonday deals thread

Auto Anything. I've used them for general stuff over the years. They messed up this time when I checked out and didn't give me the Bestop discounted price of $849. 3 phone calls later they made good. Something went wrong during the checkout process so keep an eye open for that...

  9. 4 extra gallons......where is it? Look MOM I can read with my eyes closed!!

Yes, a diesel's range is unchallenged, and I do remember the days when diesel was same/cheaper as gas. Though I don't expect those days to return for years, if ever.
  10. 4 extra gallons......where is it? Look MOM I can read with my eyes closed!!

It's all your perspective. I just traded my Ecodiesel Ram in for a Gladiator 3.6L. I smile everytime I pass a gas station and see that I'll never have to pay that extra $1 - $1.5 per gallon more for diesel! It's kind of like how good you feel when you stop hitting your head against the wall.
  11. BlackFriday + CyberMonday deals thread

I was disappointed to find out Bulletpoint stuff is made in China. I'm going to go with 67 Designs since it is made in the US, even though it might cost a few more $. I'm waiting to see if they're doing a Black Friday promotion, but no sign of that yet.

  13. Failed Mojave theft caught on security cam video.

Such a coincidence. Just this morning I had a hood pin switch added to my alarm on my new Gladiator. Now the alarm goes off if someone tries to open the hood when the alarm is armed. This forum is such a great place. I probably never would have thought to do that if it wasn't for all of the...
  14. 1,516 miles towing with my Gladiator, 11.2mpg

I really didn't intend to derail the thread with politics. Usually nothing good comes from it when that happens. My initial response was to let another forum member know that insulting another member's state is just not right. I personally think California is one of the most beautiful states...

  17. Towing Mirrors / Camera Systems

eBay will get you the JT adapters and you still need to buy the mirrors. I found the Quadratec price to be the best for the mirrors.: https://www.quadratec.com/products/13011_0311.htm
  18. PDiddy made me do it

What air suspension? Just assist bags right? I just traded my 1500 in for a JTR and one of the reasons I did that is because it had the factory air suspension and it failed. When the air springs fail and you have no suspension, just the rubber stops. The service writer said it typically...
  19. Towing Mirrors / Camera Systems

To make it clearer, here are the Thorne Engrg mirrors on my JTR. It literally takes me 10 seconds to put them on. I haven't used them yet but other forum members have said they are solid and don't vibrate and jitter the view. Here are a different, typical mirror you'll find. I have used...

And again you are wrong. California has a a budget surplus. I should know because of all the taxes I pay. Also, we haven't had a power disaster reminiscent of the Texas blizzard; was that 2020 or '21? What I can see by your data is that Ca is much more efficient, but then again, more of our...
