Considering how impressed I was with the 73:1 crawl ratio I had in my 6Sp TJ Rubicon, that is awesome. I guess they stuck with the 3.73 for fuel economy and felt it's all they needed with the Diesels torque.
Well go ahead and try to add the 4.1 transfer case when the Diesel motor is selected. It makes you choose the 3.6 gas.
I have the soft cover on my bed, but I wouldn't think so. Pretty thick and heavy. Sticky too. Only problem is because of the raised lip against tailgate, it will hold water. Might want to cut a couple small grooves in that lip to drain.
If you also get the Diesel in the Rubicon then you don't get the 4:1 Transfer case. Very troubling that Jeep appears to be putting an engine in with capability that it's drive line and chassis can't handle. At least it appears that way.
I am very happy with it for the Money on mine. Paid dealer $1700 installed at time of purchase. That included alignment and installing my Adjustable track bar and steering stabilizer I bought separately. And not having to worry about a warranty issue that they may say is lift related is a plus...
