  1. JT Gladiator Upper Decker Hinged Cargo Basket Now Available!

Darn, another better than the original 4-5 weeks
  2. What is this button?

Push button after 4lo, shift into M, and 1-5 are in 0.7-1 mph increments if I remember right. I used it on a 20° incline on my sport s max tow. Looked over at buddy and "check it out, no hands or feet!" His jaw dropped lol I did have to steer a lil
  3. Is there an argument for a naked bed?

Toyota still uses composite bed in Tacoma. Smarter, but still not quite as durable. Needless to say, they still have their followers. Still pretty tough. As for the argument, I semi agree with OP. Especially since these days pickem ups are more so bought as status symbols. Real life example: i...
  4. JT Gladiator Upper Decker Hinged Cargo Basket Now Available!

Tailgate strip aside, I've been able to mount traction boards with their tent mount. Tight, but doable. Easily accessed. Nothing a few 5/16x2 bolts, washers, nuts, and knobs from true value couldn't handle. Had to make some extra holes in the boards, but nothing crazy and still functional. Setup...
  5. bigger tires on unlifted Sport S

None. Just need to trim the winglet plastic below the bumper line in front of tires. When reversing, especially at an incline, it will rub, but nothing dangerous. If u have a rubicon, nothing to worry about.
  6. JT sport s tires

35s may be better in ur situation. The squat may cause rubbing when towing. Look into Kenda Klever RT. There's a thread on here about them. Can do 35x10.50r17 with oe rim. Still inside the fenders and D load rating I think.
  7. JT sport s tires

If u keep the oe wheels, u can do 12.5 wide tire and should only have the slightest poke via sidewall. Tread should still be under/inside fender. These are 37x12.50r17 on oe rim... pre lift
  8. JT sport s tires

    Florida my friend. Discount tire.
  9. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

I used to work service for a lil bit. It is funny what u see and hear sometimes... from both sides
  10. Jeep Gladiator - happy owners? seeing scary stuff in the repair forums

There is a tsb for the steering issue. Hopefully that becomes a non concern. By the time u by, it will be applied already from factory. The consensus for motor seems to be just reving it out here and there. Especially within the first 300-400 miles (break in). At 1000 I personally recommend oil...
  11. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

U r correct. I was just trying to figure out how to word it. But u beat me to it
  12. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Also, can't remember if mentioned but: Recall is always covered by dealer/manufacturer. All the time. TSB is free under warranty, but will cost u if not.
  13. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Yea, I had a feeling. Figured it didn't hurt to ask.
  14. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Because most of them think its the same as a recall. But there is a difference between the 2 as stated earlier in the thread.
  15. 35s or 37s?

    Pending what part lol
  16. 37″ vs 35″ Tires Side-by-Side Comparison Look

37s on max tow here. Regearing is not necessary (havent towed heavy yet). Did fine running in mud that submerged the tires completely (FL). You will notice "decrease in power", but the motor/trans handles it well, so long as u recalibrate the speedo.
  17. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

So if modified, and service is refused, even tho it states to do it as per customer complaint... does that mean police can be notified to enforce the Magnusen Act? How about if they demand the unnecessary inspection? Just making sure I got me ducks in a row... even tho one likes to wander...
  18. JT Gladiator Upper Decker Hinged Cargo Basket Now Available!

I may follow ur lead now with the thicker gasket. I have the bedliner, and i have the tiniest gap most the way. The forward seal i installed as per the video, but i think it should've gone about 1/8" - 1/4" back to make a good seal (towards the radius) maybe I can find another one of those and...
  19. JT sport s tires

you can go straight to 37s in stock configuration and oe wheel. But not all 37s fit as most require 8-9" width wheel vs our 7.5". I did milestar patagonia mt, 37x12.5r17 before putting on lift. Only requires shaving the lower plastic winglets in front of both wheels. Any major articulation will...
