I don't think its required by the state, just reccomended. I just know that Mama Bear required it and I'm not about to tell her no right now lol. I knew 99% of what the guy told us, but it was helpful for the wife to learn more and to confirm that I was doing things right. Would reccomend, it...
I didn't really do anything to the truck, but I got other things ready to do stuff to the truck. Cleaned up the garage and organized all the purchases I made over the last few months for my 1.5" frankenlift. Now just to find time and energy to install everything.
Looks great! I have the same springs, clayton's track bar and a rear 1.5" spacer sitting on standby for a good time to install. You keeping the same wheels/tires or going up there too?
I actually got a small folding step stool that fits under the passenger seat for my pregnant wife and she loves it. The stool will probably live in the truck even after pregnancy to help with getting in when I get the lift/tires installed. It also came in a two pack and was cheap, so I have...

I currently have a 2.5" spacer in the front with...

Oh dur, of course, I should have put it in the post. Best thing is that its very cheap. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FTRRPTJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
The suction cup on my dash cam kept falling, either when it was really cold or really hot. Finally found a good solution on amazon, a small ball arm mount (looks like maybe 1/2"?) that attaches to the rearview mirror with a solid clamp. It came with a bunch of mount options and a “universal”...
