DiodeDynamics white front marker lights - but not thrilled with the fit. Sticks out and there's a gap on the right one. Let side, not real bad. Right side - bad fit.
Left side - looks about like stock fit, similar to the amber stock light I removed -
Man, those screws are a bitXX to...
Totally silly to have a truck with a tow package and not have a trailer brake controller.
And if I was looking at two trucks, one with and one without - I'd buy the one with. A chore I'd not need to do.
I can tell by looking at other things if it's been rode hard and put away wet. Lack of...
I've got a pair on the shelves........... they were ok but when I put 500 pounds of trailer tongue weight on my truck, it wasn't enough.
Doubt I'll put them under the 2022 now.
500 pounds drops my Overland a LOT. So I put in air bags to handle the weight when towing. I can keep the truck...
$300 for alignment when all they can do is set toe? They can only set caster if you have adjustable control arms installed with the lift (or brackets that allow caster to be changed)
Otherwise, all they can do is set it up on the rack, take readings, set toe and send you on your way. Wow. I need...
Again, don't try to out-engineer REAL SAE members.
The explanation is - it's a TRUCK. If you want pure off-road, then buy a JL.
If you need a truck but like to off-road now and then, buy a JT.
Ideally you want shocks at a bit of an angle to help prevent wheel hop, axle wrap and so on. A good...
Still basic troubleshooting should take precedence over anything else.
Which harnesses and connectors are involved - where are they, which are most likely to be damaged by heat or water, etc.
I've fixed a lot of network issues by observation and logic.
They are swapping parts. The most they need to know how to do is basic alignment, and when to torque suspension fasteners, and how to torque them.
When it's a lift kit - there's not even any parts choosing and matching to do. Install the kit.
Torque properly, check toe, center the wheel. (if...
Benny - what's the part number for the screw that holds the front side marker lights in place in the front fender flare?
Aliens kidnapped one of mine and I need to see if a local dealer has any - but knowing them I'll just get confused looks so going with a part number may help. (it literally...
STAR = Service Technical Assistance Resource
Engineers may then look at it and give them suggestions.
Hootbro had it right - just start tossing modules and chase things around like that old wild goose chase.
People just don't diagnose or troubleshoot these days -
They often don't know how...
On second thought, don't bring it here....... I just swapped out my front marker lights with the DiodeDynamics clear front marker lights. That T30 screw that holds the light in? Mine vanished into thin air. I mean, it was there, I unscrewed it to take the light out, grabbed the new light, looked...
You can piggy back it to the 12v outlet fuse. That way it will only work with ign on or engine running.
I can't recall fuse number but you can get the kit to do so cheap on amazon.
I have pictures in the house - it's cheap, simple, and safe. It is a clean install that way, too - no extra wires...
That's the internet scuttle - but not entirely accurate - and there are several TSBs and flashes out there so you'd have to say "which one".
A deep scan may show past misfires that didn't trigger the MIL or set an error. But it seems they often ignore some misfires, too.
I've found that...
Metric or English?
Bun length, plumpers, ballpark, or other?
The problem with leaves - they rot, they decay, they stain stuff.
They contain tannin - all plant matter does. And it stains.
It's a weak acid and extremely soluble - so don't leave the leaves in there.
Oh, if it were so simple.
It's going to depend on the shop and the location. The shops these days are so busy they don't give a rip and I talked with staff at a local dealership who literally said "we don't care, in fact we send a lot of accessory stuff to another business as it's not worth our...
My 2020 was perfectly centered and square on the frame. Those fillers actually filled the gap perfectly on both sides.
On my '22, the bed seems to be a tiny bit further from the cab on one side than the other, but looking around I can't really see the reason.
I know for GM, they want to reduce...
