  1. Warning lights coming on at random. WTF?

All good comments. I assume you have added some form of suspension modifications in order to run the 37s, and that you have used something like a Tazer or used JScan to reset your system's to accommodate the larger diameter tires. ABS/traction control issues can come up if the axles aren’t...
  2. Cold Critters

I'm told dryer sheets work wonders. We're trying them at work, along with mothballs.
  3. Cold Critters

When the brake warning light on our business' Dodge Caravan illuminated I opened the hood to see if the brake fluid level was low. Instead I discovered a very large, very terrified rabbit that had been eating the leads to the brake fluid level sensor. He was ok, but had taken a ride under the...
  4. Bartact Mojave seat covers

I have Bartacts on my '09 JKUR. The fronts were installed a couple years before I got the rear set. Over the intervening period of time something must have happened with their production. While the fronts fit perfectly, the rears do not and the difference is obvious. You might contact them and...
  5. Hothead Headliner adhesive issues?

I’d say room temp. I did the Freedom Panels on the dinning room table and the hardtop panels in a heated garage. There are only two thin strips of the 3M tape on each panel, and the panels have some weight to them. Needs at least double what they supply.
  6. Hothead Headliner adhesive issues?

Bringing this back up. The install on my new Gladiator did not go at all well. They provide a skimpy amount of the 3M tape adhesive. We thoroughly scuffed and acetone prepped the mounting areas of the roof panels per their supplied instructions. Despite this the panels one at a time fell off...
  7. Finally geometry brackets data

I have a 4ā€ Teraflex long arm on my ā€˜09 JK. I’m only a few hours from Moab, the sliders, control arms and underside of the rig bear many rock scars courtesy of those trails. Scrapes are fine, try not to hit it so hard you bend stuff. If you bend it, hey, you wanna play, you gotta pay.
  8. Finally geometry brackets data

If you wheel it, you will hit stuff.
  9. Rock Lights tied to bed lights and reverse

I've had a set of magnetic mount LUX rock lights on my JKUR for quite a few years now. They are wired along with spot & wide beam Rigid lights. They are wired via a first gen sPod system that works great. sPod has some JT systems that are pretty pricey but will likely perform well...
  10. Should I use a shock extension kit for 1 1/2 inch leveling kit?

I think it just depends upon how you'll use the truck. A couple weekends ago I installed the Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit on my new '23 Willys Sport to get rid of the rake get a bit more clearance in front. To get back the caster lost to the leveling kit, last weekend I installed the longer lower...
  11. Manual Shift option wears out transmission

We have five Gladiator Sport Max Tow automatics in Jeep tour service here and in Moab. We use the manual mode regularly when descending steep grades to prevent overheating of the brakes and have had no issues whatsoever with the transmissions. Something isn’t right with your setup, I’d be...
  12. Alignment story

I agree. Ask them about thrust angle, see what they say.
  13. Alignment story

There was 45 lbs of air pressure in my new Gladiator's tires whe I drove it home. I reduce it to 35 lbs, 37 is way too much IMHO. It came with some wretched 255/75 (32ā€) BFG KM2 mud terrains, a tire I had on my JK and hated, so I swapped them out for some Rubi spec 285/70s (33ā€) KO2s as this is...
  14. Thoughts on Quadratec Lift Kits

The voice of experince here. Do not cheap out on suspensions. Do your homework, be patient and do it ONCE. Frankly, from my experience other than the fact it doesn't provide adjustable or lengthened track bars the Mopar kit is hard to beat up to 37" tires. We have five tour Gladiators with the...
  15. On this episode of "Batteries gone bad"

This setup is similar to replaceable batteries in a flashlight. It may be that only one of them is in its death throes, but you should replace both at the same time. One on its way out will slowly kill the other. There's a lot of ā€œInternet wisdomā€ on this subject, a lot of it just jumping to...
  16. Mojave - Teraflex Spacers 1.5” installed w/ pics

I just did this kit on a new ā€˜23 Willys Sport. The stock stance/rake was excessive IMHO. Ideally I’d have preferred a 1ā€ longer spring as we have no idea how long those TF spacers will last. Not sure if a Rubicon or Mohave front spring set would have done the job. But, these retain the nice...
  17. Teraflex 1.5 Inch Front Leveling Kit

I didn't read through all the posts here so sorry if this has been covered. I put the TF 1.5" spacer kit on my new '23 Willys to level it out and get rid of that rake. I did notice the reduction in caster almost immediately, so I just installed the Mopar 2" kit front lower control arms and based...
  18. "I'm gonna keep the mojave stock..."

Our Jeep tour business runs five ā€˜21 Gladiator Max Tow Sports with the Mopar 2ā€ lifts & 33s. I took advantage of the big discount binge and scored a ā€˜23 Willys rather than a Mojave or Rubi, primarily because I have a built JK that does the heavy lifting. No mods for the Willys….except for 33s...
  19. Mud flaps, again

On a recommendation I installed the RokBlokz fronts on our three Jeep Tour Gladiators. They have worked extremely well and have held up remarkably. I'll put a set on my personal JT soon.
  20. Thoughts on this JKS lift kit?

Front control arm drop brackets are a way to keep the front control arms in the same orientation as stock and eliminate the need for adjustable arms. As you lift the frame with longer springs arms start to form a downward orientation that reduces caster and can increase impact jolts into the...
