  1. Mopar factory trailer brake controller - my impressions and review

The Curt Bluetooth unit works ok, but depending on the strength of your phone's Bluetooth, can disconnect during use. Luckily it holds last setting in memory and still functions. I'll hold off on the Mopar unit until all issues are sorted out, as it sounds like some fine tuning on the...

  3. Export Tail lights on NA Spec Gladiator

I bought two plugs, spent about $80 for them, and bought a standard bumper wiring harness to use as a mock up if I found the wires in the main harness. If I were to do it again, I'd just buy the rear license plate harness $24, splice in the extra length on the right and left side and save money...
  4. 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys Debuts With Unique Content and Increased Capability

Apparently I've built my own Willy's, and didn't know it. Other than the black grill, I have the black rims, air dam delete, rock rails and the retro 4wd graphic on the tailgate, although on the other side.
  5. Export Tail lights on NA Spec Gladiator

There's a mounting adaptor listed for the export LED taillights. I don't remember seeing any adaptor when I upgraded to the NA LED taillights. The export weren't yet available to order back in March when I was adding the rear fogs, but I'm looking at them for a future upgrade. I do know my Tazer...
  6. Export Tail lights on NA Spec Gladiator

I did. I have about 25' that I wrapped to match the factory harness and then ran it up passenger side frame rail up into the engine compartment, connecting it to the aux 3 wire. The ground I terminated right above the spare tire at a grounding point.
  7. Export Tail lights on NA Spec Gladiator

Here's how they look turned on.
  8. Export Tail lights on NA Spec Gladiator

When you get the export taillights installed, post some photos. I did the euro rear fog lights back in March I think I was the first to do it, but couldn't find the wires in my Sport S to plug into the fog light switch, so I wired them to my Aux switches instead.

Winter starts late January and can go through March and lingering snow storms up to Mother's Day but nothing harsh. We can have a blizzard with feet of snow, and then 2 days later it's all melted and gone. People are terrible bad weather drivers and cause too many accidents for dumb stuff...
  10. Stickers and decal pics!

The last of my Jeep Badge of Honor badges showed up last week. Haven't decided if I'll put them on the JT, or create a shadow box and keep them there. Anybody else make a shadow box, would like to see some ideas.
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today?

Took off the factory running boards and replaced with factory rock rails. My wife hates me now, but the JT looks awesome.
  12. GRANITE CRYSTAL JT Gladiator Club

Installed in about 20-25 minutes, with 5 minutes of that trying to get the freedom panels into the storage bag. Super easy to install. If you use a screw gun, turn the clutch to low breakaway to prevent over tightening. A helper would make it easier to put on, but a single individual can do it...
  13. GRANITE CRYSTAL JT Gladiator Club

Other than the regular draining of water onto your leg when you open the door, just like the freedom panels do, it's awesome to have. Road noise is slightly higher, and the stereo bar above the seats isn't quite as loud as it absorbs the sound more than reflect it. Doubt I'll switch back to the...
  14. GRANITE CRYSTAL JT Gladiator Club

It depends on how you want it to look. I like the matching painted tops and fenders, but the black accents the GCM really well too. I have the black top and fenders, along with the LE rims.

  16. Below Invoice Discussion @ Motor Inn of Spirit Lake

I can't calendar correctly. Today is 1 year with my JT Google photos reminded me.
  17. Below Invoice Discussion @ Motor Inn of Spirit Lake

It'll be 1 year on September 30, since I picked up my JT from Motor Inn of Spirit Lake. Lots of fun over the last year, and my JT has changed a bit from when we got her. She'll turn 16,000 miles this week.
  18. Black Bear Pass

If you don't have a Rubicon and disconnect manually, be sure to reconnect after being on the trails. Gladiators will wallow badly in corners and understeer without the sway bars connected, and it's very tiring to drive. With the snow storm, I left them disconnected for a bit driving back the...
  19. Black Bear Pass

The trails in Ouray are usually ok through mid October, this was just a freak early snow storm that hit fast. We were on top of Engineer Pass when it hit. Got down to Lake City and took the really long way back to Ouray up to highway 50 and then back down 550 because of the snow/sleet.
