I was at a Jeep dealer today and noticed that only Mojave-X had the tow hitch but the regular Mojaves didn't. On the Jeep website, I tried to build a Mojave with tow package but didn't see any option.
My question is that tow package option doesn't exist on Mojave unless it is Mojave-X?
I change my Jeeps frequently. I do get buyers remorse but it goes away after a few days or in a couple of weeks. A few months later I get the itch again and I swap em. Wash, rinse repeat. If you swap it, you will get buyers remorse again regretting the trade but that will also go away.
My wife...
Dual magnetic is what I do since I have a battery case on my iPhone.
I also use my phone as my dash cam.
I placed this on my dashboard where bullet point goes. You can remove the mat and stick the metal plate base on the smooth plastic or stick a strong smooth tape on the mat and stick the metal...
Do you have tow package or aux package? If you don't have either of them, the JT comes equipped with standard alternator (220 Amps). But if you do have either of them, it comes with a heavy duty alternator (240 Amps). But it would be interesting to see what the MIL code is about.
Diesel or gas? If it is diesel, you might as well get a Scangauge which will not only read the codes, clear the codes but will give you valuable info on turbo temp, soot level, regen history and regen active status too. If gas, just get a regular OBD2 scanner.
Found it with my endoscope/snake light. Didn't need to remove the seat. It was right inside the opening's inner side wall. Used the snake light's hook adapter to lift it up a little to pry it out.
It is not a valuable item but I just want to get it out as it has a lithium battery and I don't want to leave it in the vehicle specially when it gets hot in Vegas.
Today my vape pen fell under the dreaded space between the driver seat and center console.
Not visible ast it may have slid under the center console and the front seat rail.
Any suggestions to retrieve it? Do I need to remove the front seat or is there a short cut?
Thanks in advance.
Normal. When I had my Ecodiesel, I timed it to exact 3 minutes.
Initial hypothesis was that it may be coolant pumped to cool the turbo but later a couple of SAs from different dealerships told me it was fuel return.
So whatever it may be, no worries, it is by design.
My first oil change would be around 3500-4000 miles.
Then every 5000 miles or 5 months whichever comes earlier. Oil life remaining usually shows 50-55% in that schedule.
@Varooom, might as well secure the hood too. If someone can pour sugar in the gas tank, they can do more damage by adding something into engine oil through the unsecured hood.
