I was a little worried before I saw it in person but I love it now. It’s not overly green, looks gray to me most of the time unless the light hits it just right. Mine is actually anvil, they did away with the Sting Gray.
I have the exact same setup. I have been trying to find the right psi myself. I am trying 32 psi now but dont have many miles with that amount yet. I have seen anywhere between 26 and 35 psi.
I have the C load on my stock rims. At 35 psi, I did the chalk test and the outsides of each tire (about a 1/2" on each side) doesnt seem to be touching the pavement. Have you tried the chalk test with yours? I just dont want them to wear weird or wear down early. Thanks!
Thank you. Are you still on stock rims? If so, I have the exact same setup. When I do the chalk test around 35 psi, the tires dont touch the ground on the very outside on each side of the tire. Probably around 1/2" or so width on each side. Have you tried the chalk test with yours? How...
You could always let the dealer do it if not comfortable doing it on your own. It costs a little more but you dont have to worry about buying more parts and doing it yourself. I use the Jscan but my hand hates me for it. lol
What about the pics I posted above. Is it odd that its only on the inside? Does this definitely mean that it just needs lower psi? I am surprised its just on the inside of the tires like this and not sure what to do to correct it?
I have 37” BFG KO2s on stock rims. The dealer put 40 psi in them which was obviously too much right away. I’ve went down a lb each time down to 32 psi but still have this small ~ 1/2” patch on the inside of the tires that doesn’t touch the pavement (see pics). At 40 psi, it was both sides of the...
When using the extension but not Jscan, where does the ends go that plug into the SGW cable when not in use? Do they go anywhere or just leave unplugged on one end?
I’ve used it on two Jeeps to change the tire size. The biggest problem is getting your hand to where the plugs are, lol. Worth the money just for that though, dealer wanted $300.
