The 3rd gen Ecodiesel is bench flash only. There is no tool too switch between tunes 1st and 2nd gens, yes, EOC sends you a handheld tuner. For 3rd gen (all JT Ecos), you send them the ecu, they tune it and send it back. You only get on tune.
Yup, General vs KO2 are the only options at 37. I was considering 38" Nitto Ridge Grapplers as well, but really wanted the white letters. It was an easy decision to go with these over the BFGs.
Secret time... your truck was the inspiration for my setup. Well, the look anyway, I actually decided on the general after watching a buddy of mine outwheel us all last year on his "winter tires". Thanks :)
Yes, you missed numerous posts about the cp4 recall. There have been a couple recalls (or at least multiple groups of VINS added to the same recall, I'm not sure).
100% fault ofbthe bubble suv, but an ounce of defensive driving by the jeeper would have prevented that completely. That other suv was in the intersection before the jeep approached.
There have been cp4 failures even when using lubrication additives. I believe the design of the pump (lifters spinning on the lobe) and lubrication to both be the causes of the failures. The thing is, when a cp3 fails, it doesn't send shrapnel through the fuel system (allegedly, from what I've...
I've been having a lot of check engine lights due to the DEF system and want to "lighten" my truck. I am worried that if I do so before the cp4 recall is done, Stellantis will deny my pump replacement and warranty claim should the worst happen. So, I'm looking at potentially doing everything...
I have the Tazer light which I use to clear them. I don't believe there a way to do it without aftermarket support. It's likely that the DEF nozzle is clogging with crystallized DEF. Tell them to clean it and clear the code. Unfortunately this does nothing for your current t predicament.
Absolutely. However, I like to do my own maintenance, repairs, and modifications. The Gladiator power train has a proven track record of general reliability and longevity. As with any vehicle, a small portion have issues, but overall, it's a very reliable vehicle.
As noted above, The steering stabilizer does not cure death wobble. It only masks it. Like putting a bandaid on a cut that needs stitches. Sure, you can cover it up temporarily, but you've got other issues. Check your tire balance, lug nut torque, all tie rod ends and bushings in the front...
