^ To clarify..
Rock lights have their own control box the go into…. Back cab lights have their own control box as well.
Running a fullsize RV/Marine Lithium in the bed to power Aux lights on back cab. Since i dont need the lights on all the time I did not want overload the electrical system...
Lights…
8 on the top total and the rock lights. They all have their own control box and power.
Top lights in back cab are installed just not wired in yet due to weather… Distribution box ready and power source for rear ready. When it gets warmer i will finish it.

I am always down to help someone clean a vehcile. For me it’s therapeutic. I used to do it as a big side hustle and still do.
If in the Atlanta area at any point (temps above 40 please), I will help. Only cost a pizza :)
After neary 2 weeks of heavy off and on rain… I got up at 7 am and did a full detail inside and out to include washing underneath, cleaning the engine and ceramic spray waxing…
I do like when its fully cleaned up!

I hear the concerns of rust etc…. I coated my internal soring and lock with dry film lubricant. Maybe it helps a little. If in a few months i see theres and issue…well ..$38 is cheap to replace or i will go a different direction. For the time being its just another layer of protection.
Ok… so I ordered a set from Amazon. They look like OEM and are decently heavier than the factory hinges.
It is litterally (2) bolts to remove the top 10mm
Bottom hinge is a 13mm (i think) single bolt.
Takes less than 5 mins to complete and is TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Cost is -$38.
You can krder the kit yourself. It really is not hard to do. You just need a clean vehicle and clean environment to do it. A friend to help hold and postion will help out as well. If you take care of it, it will last over 5 years. Some of the new material is self healing when scratched.
Ask and ye shall receive… :)
did mine a couple weeks ago. Brackets are the tricky part. Most awnings come with them BUT you may need to google Awning Roof mounted brackets to find one that works perfectly for your setup.
I spaced mine a tad fuether from the camper top due to some lights mounted...
Team,
i am looking to build a travel camper but utilizing the rear of a Gladiator
Ideally i would like the rear end of a White Gladiator. Does anyone know if they have a line on a area that has or would sell a good bed setup with rear axle and wheels?
I got a retractable awning system and some sleeping bags for me and the kids. Getting ready to go camping this Spring IN the Gladiator.
Will get a tent system by thenzz
