    ive since gone up to 37” tires with no rubbing but still tow our 3,000 lb travel trailer up steep grades with no issues thanks to the 4.11 gears in the max tow. If we are doing any out of state tow trips I swap the stock 33s back on. 35s are a happy medium.

    Rugged ridge rear bumper installed to match the front. With the help of some hippy chrome to hold the bolts in to hang the bumper and my long ass arms it was a 1 man job. All you trex’s better get a hand!

    and now with the matching rugged ridge rear bumper. feeling much better about my girls riding around fully wrapped in steel especially after feeling how light and janky the stock bumpers were. Lighting fast Amazon shipping, great figment, reasonably priced and with $100 rebates on each. Do it!

    same thing happened to me so I bought an FJ. Now they drive the FJ so now I’m back to Gladis. Just bought her a new stubby bumper.

    Maiden tow voyage on the 37s on the 20x10 wheels over to Santa Cruz. Under a couple hours each way but over some steep grades. Handling was still good and only dropped down into 4th while maintaining 55 on the steepest sections. Had to crank up the brake controller to help stop the extra rolling...

    Brought the family up to Mariposa for the weekend. hopefully play in the snow a little today and hit Yosemite Monday.

    Swapped out the 37x13.50 Gladiator MTs for some 37x12.50 nitto terra grapplers. The MTs road fine locally but not so much on longer trips. Looking for a set of wheels to make the town to trail transition faster!

    They may have settled over time but immediately after install of just the rubicon fox shocks I measured and gained 1/2” from the ground to the bottom of the rear fenders.     Explored Tumey and Panoche hills in the Diablo range in central california. Lots of razor back ridges and pucker moments but the wife forgave me after a nice long hike. If you zoom in the largest black bush is the beast from a distance.
