- How do you get a philosophy major to stop talking and get off your front porch?
- Pay for the pizza.
This may or may not apply to your situation, but my 2021 had a new 3.6 long block installed just a few months ago (96k miles at the time). Right away, I started noticing a coolant smell when walking past the grille after a drive, and there would be a small amount of coolant beneath it. Nothing...
Back in September I took my JT in because of a tick in the engine - what I assumed was the camshaft / follower problem that many others have noted. A day later, the dealership called and said "new engine time". They installed a new long block and later said that the problem with the original...
Thank you! These wheels do get plenty of positive comments from people when I'm out and about... Lots of people fondly remember wagon wheels.
The stripes were ordered from Jeep, Part # 82215958AC – Body and Hood Decal Kit – Sales Code ‘M9C’
Thanks again! 👍
Yeah, I'm too old-skool for modern wheels. These are the retro wagon wheels from Quadratec, but I pre-ordered them from Fortec 4x4 in Roswell, GA back when Quadratec was out of stock for a long time.
Fortec/Andreas took great care of me - including rounding up the center cap overlays too.
Cost depends on what finish you choose. They quoted Gloss Black at $250, and Matte Black (SEM Trim Black, which is what I chose) at $300... plus shipping. That's for two sets of fender letters and one tailgate set - including 3 templates.
I ordered a set of tailgate and fender letters from Luxury Details in Southborough, MA (same as @TheBostonGladiator used on his truck), which arrived about a week ago. This weekend I was finally able to install the tailgate letters. Matt from Luxury Details provided a template which made...
I live near Washington, MO and ordered my JT through Dave Sinclair CDJR in Pacific. This makes the 6th vehicle purchase we've made from there (including when it was Don Flier), and they have always treated me great. One of their parts guys is a classic Mopar musclecar owner / fellow gearhead...
What's shown is just a simple Excel spreadsheet, nothing fancy. I also track (but didn't print out) which fuel station, as it's become apparent that some have better fuel than others.
The mileage at fill-up and gallons added are kept in my iPhone in a Notes page. When I have time later on...
Mine's a gas-burner, not a diesel.
No one hurt me, it's just something I track on my own because I was curious. I log the info on my iPhone before pulling away from the pump, so it takes a few seconds. Plus, Missouri announced a program where you can get a refund of the gas tax increase they...
Even though my 2021 Overland has ACC, I quit using it on my 43 mile e.w. commute (too many instances of slamming on the brakes) a long time ago. I will use it on long road trips in wide open interstate stretches with light traffic, but not in moderate to heavy traffic conditions. No thanks...
I have tan cloth seats, and did pick up a few light stains from hauling pizza home to the family, etc. within the first 6 months of ownership.
Using some products from The Chemical Guys, the stains came out VERY easily. It had been the plan to Scotchguard everything right away, but I got busy...
Starting with my third fill-up, I've been consistently able to put in over 21 gallons. I manually track every tank of gas in a spreadsheet, and the numbers don't lie. My AVERAGE fill-up is 21.769 gallons, and that's after about 55 tanks. This isn't a fluke.
It definitely requires patience...
