I run a lot of Metalcloak products on my Jeeps. Never been disappointed yet. I am running a Toyo Open Country RT 37X12.5-17. They run pretty true to size for a 37. Fully inflated I have a full 1 1/2” of clearance.
Question @Artec? Just installed the JT4135 on my 2021 JT Rubicon 3.0L Dsl. The clearance is really tight on the engine skid and the catalytic converter. Picture attached looking down at the clearance. Have not had a chance to see if it making contact under torque load of engine. Did...
I will give you a 90% chance it will not fit if you have factory track bar. I went with the Metalcloak rear track bar that gives you clearance for a 38" tire. I have a 37x12.5X17 Toyo Open Country RT's that are spec'd at 36.8. I still had to "massage" the factory heat shield to get it...
Look at Metalcloak rear track bar. It says it will clear up to a 38" tire. I have one on order. I have the first one they released a few years ago along with the front track bar. Very happy with their products. here is the link...
Only have a few hundred miles on them but I am amazed how quite and smooth ride they have. The rolling resistance is impressive as my MPG has gone up over the old 35"MT Baja Boss MT's despite being a heavier tire and a 37". AEV Dualsport Borah wheels with protection ring added a few pounds...
Nice looking rig. Give us a 30 day follow up to how the tires are working. How is the load range E from a ride standpoint. What air pressures are you running? Would you buy them again without the smoking hot deal? Thanks!
Just ordered a JLU from them last week. Jackie is super responsive throughout the entire process. Would recommend them to anyone in this part of the country. Now the wait begins to see how long it takes to get built and shipped.
Mine had the same code at 230 miles. 3 trips to the dealer they finally replace the downstream sensor. Never had a issue after that. Simply fix and not a big deal.
