Currently using some weatherproof Mopar Chinese knockoff’s off Amazon. They worked fine until they didn’t. I have managed to rub a hole through them with my heel in about 10k miles of driving.
Depends on the work being done. If any flashing or computer programming is done for any reason, you must unmarry your Tazer. If not, and flashing/computer programming was done, as soon as you unmarry the next time, you will lose it. This could be a huge problem for you in the future. Best bet...
I do, and it’s simple. Actually easier, because you only have to jack up one wheel at a time when you start rotating with the spare. Besides, the five tire rotation makes the most sense. Otherwise you basically have a spare that ages out and gets tossed. Or a spare that you might have to use...
I believe all you need to be concerned with is that you get the M210 and M220 covers as they are all the same for these axles. When you are looking at axle shafts etc then you need to be more particular as there are differences among models.
It’s like a daily pre flight check ritual to walk around and tighten all the thumbscrews. For the price of these things it’s a little frustrating. I know it’s just. a matter of time before I lose one. Thanks for the links.
One more thing…whoever took you on that trail…give em a swift kick in the junk - JK. I would never take anyone, especially someone newer to wheeling, on a trail that would cause that much damage…
After another hard wheeling trips, I always check everything underneath, front and back. It may take an hour, but you would be surprised what you can find. Better to catch things early than break on the trail. Check to make sure everything is still torqued to specs. Check all the...
Should have known people were going to flame Matt. That said, I just pointed out that they ran these tires and they performed well. This way the OP could see for themselves. I also suggested the OP search for online reviews for more info.
Matt’s Off-road Recovery runs Milestar’s and reports he likes them. They put the ones you’re looking at on Jefe’s Bronco. Jefe ran some of the toughest trails and sand dunes out in Sand Hollow on them. They seemed to perform very well. I would try looking for online reviews.
...this is the issue...turns 1 2/3 revolutions one way and almost 2 revolutions the other. Will get the wheels pointed straight and adjust the drag link.
Is there a way to reset the steering wheel sensor? Have friend with a JLU and his alignment is perfect, Steering wheel is straight, wheels are straight, but on the dash it shows his wheels turned 24 degrees. Has the ESC light on. If anyone knows the reset procedure, please share. Thanks!
Did you ever get this figured out? Have a friend with a 2019 JLU and everything is perfectly aligned but sensors says his wheel are turned 24 degrees! Need to reset the sensor, but can't find any to DIY?
Just the price of the wheels, but the improved MPG towing, decreased strain on the system, and the feeling of well being, I feel it's worth it. Besides, the tires last twice as long this way, so you are buying them at a lower price now compared to a year(s) from now. The wheels on the 35's stay...
I went with 5:13 gears for my 37’s.. They are perfect. I also have a set of 35’s that I run for towing the camper. I can tow with the 37’s, but it’s just a little easier through the mountain passes with the 35’s. Even when not towing with the 35’s it still runs fine down the highway…no huge RPM...
Get the fifth wheel and do a five tire rotation. This will give you 20% more tire life. Otherwise the spare will likely just age out with nearly full tread, as it rarely gets used.
Yep...my dealership thought they updated the computer to reflect the 5:13 gears, but it was still throwing codes. When I plugged in the Tazer, it still showed 4:10. Reprogrammed the taser to 5:13 and all was well.
