Thornbirds FTW!! Those were the shit back in the day, lol! My friend and I both had 33's on our TJ's in college. I had one set of 36" SSR on an 86 square body and they were great tires, but I don't recall getting very many miles out of them.

I have not, but a well built TJ can go just about anywhere! I decided to forgo the PSC, I simply don't need it and not worth the price of admission just to have it.

I really think its the KM3's. Have a friend with 37" km3 and has the same issues. My son is running 40" yokohama geolander MT's, with MC 3.5" and MC 1 ton steering, fox 2.0 ss, and it rides flawless, smooth as could be, with zero shimmy ever?!? IDK either.

Did this set up help with street/interstate manners? I get the occasional bump steer/shimmy when hitting bumps or bridge transitions while in a swooping turn. Currently have synergy 1 ton steering set up, track bar, icon pass through ss, and steer smarts gear brace on 39" KM3, but moving to 40's...

One of the reasons to keep 513 for now, see how well they work. If they're a no go, will likely do a 60 rear with 488's.

Agree. Have planned on that all along. Down fall is losing spare tire location, even tho only have a 37 for spare, but would get me out of a pinch. I do have on board air, so apart from blowing a sidewall out, I could make do short term.

Any shock longer than 28" with large enough lift will give you fits with stock front ds. We are running a MC 3.5 with a 1" TF spacer on the front of my sons JTR, but very light wheeling, never full droop, and max ext length on fronts is 28, and no issues with stock DS in his.
