Spydertrax 1.25”have been on my O5 Rubicon for almost 20 years. Not one issue. I used OE wheels so I ended up with 3.75” back spacing ,no more stress than using after market wheels which I did not want
I have a slight amount of bump steer at 3" with just a currie drag link and core track bar but it takes an extreme dip in the road to make it known. I have the rest of Currie's High steer kit which don't require a drag link flip. They make new Knuckles that just raise the tie rod and drag link...
Sounds like you have actual Bump steer . When the steering wheel actually turns slightly as the suspension cycles like when hitting a dip in the road. Thats Bumpsteer . Some people refer to a wobble or a shimmy when you do hit a pot hole or a bump with just one tire bump steer but that is in...
I did Rock Jock mainly from experience with Currie since early 2000's and knowing I would eventually switch Knuckles to their high steer system which can be used with only 2.5" of lift being it don't require a draglink flip .
I use the NOCO 2 also and I eliminated the small battery and replaced the Bigger battery with a bigger one. I have a plug in front by the winch. I only travel a short distance daily for coffee each day so I plug it in nightly in the garage .My last Ram also had the 8.4 radio and I had battery...
In my case I wanted as light of a 37 as I could find . The C rated BFG will carry more weight than my JT can. I have no rocks to worry about side wall protection so I ended up with about a 90lb tire/wheel combination which has been a win .
Mix and matching springs with shocks isn’t a novel idea. I like the 5100s I have, they are easy to get and priced great.
I understand ,this not my first rodeo . I have done it myself for years and doing so is pretty much a guessing game with off the shelf shocks and never end up great . I must...
You do know that AEV has a 2” lift with 5100’s valved to match their springs rather than the off the shelf valved 5100’s if you prefer the known known
Just for some food for thought on a sloppy box. I started to think mine was in need of adjustment. For the hell of it I backed off on some caster and the sloppy feeling went away. I am about 6 degrees and seems fine. I think I was above 7 when it felt like I had play because of the excessive...
Single cab longer bed with less over hang and if possible shorter wheel base AND A HEMI I miss them . I always had reg cab short beds with the largest V8, hell of a change
We all know what comes next after 37s and no other steering mods , even on a mall crawler.. Why wait I always say , Each death wobble episode loosens more components. A Track bar with better bushings , then a better Drag link will be the usual order to start with if you already have a steel...
