Surely there would be some kind of time limit from the announcement of the recall until they consider themselves no longer liable? To give people time to arrange the fix and get it done.
Wellā¦I was planning on either another Gladiator if the hurricane came out with a manual OR if they brought back Gobi Iād trade mine for a fresh manual unit in the color I really wanted to begin with.
Now they have lost my business for good. Just like Corvette did with the no manual in the...
Does anyone know if the torque capacity of the new clutch is higher? Or any other spec info? Iād rather have them install an aftermarket clutch with me paying for parts but something tells me they wonāt do that.
Just had my 37ā Geolandars (MTs) installed and they set them at 39 psi. Curious if 34psi ended up being the sweet spot for you wear-wise after some more mileage? Just looking for a good starting point as I measure my tread every oil change and adjust. Thanks š
Bring back gobi color, hurricane engine with manual, manual gear spacing fixed (JK was much better), usable 6th gear ratio, and I'll trade in my 2021 on a new one.
The way the soft top sits on the top of the cab when opened needs to change. It looks weird and drags aerodynamically. Maybe double...
Thanks, everyone. I have the truck back with the red superseding part number shocks. Heavy rain last night so hard to say on the ride quality difference yet. I donāt go off-road (yet) so I will likely not be able to share any feedback there. The replacements are fully covered by a black plastic...
Thanks, everyone. Sounds like the newer shocks are liked better anyways. I went ahead and gave them the go ahead to replace. Once my OEM tires run out I may consider fully upgrading the suspension.
Understood completely. Truthfully I did think the FOX units were cool when I bought it because I know very little about trucks (as opposed to cars) and I recognized the brand as very respected at least from me as an outsider. If the Mopar replacements are universally better I can accept that as...
Hi Folks,
My dealer needs to replace one of my ā21 Rubicon shocks due to suspension squeaking but says they can no longer get the OEM FOX units. They have to replace all 4 with fully red Mopar parts (see pic). My first thought was that FOX was a major selling point for the Rubicon trim level...
Got mine back after 28 days. No codes so far maybe 100 miles or so. Canāt help but feel the truck still seems sluggish but maybe my imagination. They did the manual trans ECU update without asking but I guess the gear indicator in the dash was a cool surprise.
Mine (2021, Dec build, 6MT) has been sitting for 25 days now waiting on a valve cover gasket. Anyone else waiting on this part? Dealer says oil leaked onto O2 sensor causing the codes which seems to be accurate from what Iāve seen others say. Iām only around 6000 miles or so. They say they are...
This makes no sense to me. Seems like some part would be causing partial engagement / disengagement so why not fix that? Instead they are going to monitor (with what sensor?) for the symptom and then detune torque?
I waited and lost my shot at Gobi. So I regret that. Now I have a Sting Gray. But Iāll be pretty irritated if they change out the 3.6 for a boosted line 6 in a few years.
Curious why the blower didnāt work out? Just nothing added on the low end where the 3.6 needs it? My end goal is a DIY hemi swap retaining a manual but that will be a long ways down the road due to the cost/time. I was thinking blower as an intermediate step once warranty runs out.
