No it has not happened since. We had a pretty cold November when this happened but it has hit single digits and there has been no problem.
They just did their service and replaced the O-ring along with the filter and told me thats what it was. Seems like an odd fluke to me...
Ive been wanting to get up that way and wheel those trails. Im in the SW corner of CO so it is just as fast for me to head South to Phoenix where I have wheelin buddies.
Looks like a great time!
I agree with you but sometimes the slang or shorthand can overcome the technical terms. If I need an actual "tie rod" or drag link at any of my local parts stores I would have to specify that. If I went in and asked for a tie rod they would ask which one? At the knuckle? At the pitman arm...
Its all a matter of terminology. Look at an IFS steering setup with inner and outer tie rods. Go to the parts store and open the box, its a "ball socket" or whatever you wanna call it. I call them tie rod ends. Some people just call them tie rods. There are a ton of different "rod ends" in the...
I just installed the Desert Does It seat jackers last night. I only have a couple miles on them but I like them so far. Gives more leg room and puts you in a more comfortable position. Naturally since you are raising the front instead of lowering the rear you have to get up a bit higher when you...
I've seen this and I like it. My Factor55 flatlink never seems to stay tight to my fairlead and ends up falling down a little. I'll have one on my YJ at some point.
I started using it after a few thousand miles or so. No I haven't noticed anything different emissions wise. Im just over 10k miles now but ive only had it since March of this year.
I wouldnt have been too worried about it, as long as you dont shut it off. I drive a lot of very short trips throughout my day and when that message pops up it isnt practical to drive for another 15-20 minutes for a regen because ill be at my destination in 30 seconds. After the 3rd or 4th time...
I guess I put my foot in my mouth. Early 07 2 door JKs had a 35 rear and apparently some JLs have a 30/35. I just knew that all JTs have 44s, wide or standard.
Luckily Dana 35s havent been a thing since TJs. All JKs had a rear 44, the only difference was standard or Rubicon. They still put the Dana 30 up front in non-Rubicon JKs but they beefed it up quite a bit.
Now all JL/JTs get 44s up front too
